10 YEARS. 🥂 And well over 300 events later. The old me probably wouldn’t post this. Some photos aren’t the right size, some don’t fit the frame perfectly and I would’ve overthought it until the post never made it out of my drafts. There’s too much story in these photos to let perfection keep them hidden. To think, this isn’t even half of all our work. Yesterday, August 13th, marked 10 years in business. I spent our actual anniversary reflecting, celebrating and sitting in complete gratitude. Because whew… there are STORIES behind these events. The ups. The downs. Vetting clients. Rebuilding processes. Contract revamps. Hires AND fires. Finding my vendor tribe. Learning when to say no. And figuring out exactly what kind of Event Producer and Creative I wanted to become. Then there’s the GOOD. Every referral. Every client who trusted us. Every compliment. Every vendor relationship. Every person who said our name in a room we weren’t in. Every opportunity to produce weddings, social celebrations, corporate events, brand activations and experiences for some incredible brands, companies and organizations. A dream I’ve had since 17 somehow became a business, and then a full-blown career. Even losing a 9–5 I genuinely enjoyed became part of the story. It catapulted me into a different level of GO FOR IT these last three years. And now…the next chapter. HAUSWARMING is coming. The official introduction to the evolution of @theeventparlor to now @hausofparlor , a celebration of everything these first 10 years built, and EVERYONE is invited. I don’t know how far this can go. But I’m willing to find out. Letting God show me just how good it can get. Cheers to 10 years of creating, producing, learning, pivoting and making it happen. A Love Story, In Bloom. 🌸 Before she arrives, she is celebrated. Before she is held, she is loved. Before her story begins, there are already so many people waiting to become part of it. For this celebration, we imagined a world in bloom, soft, feminine, abundant & filled with beauty at every turn. A room where flowers climbed toward the ceiling, butterflies rested at each place setting, & every shade of pink came together to honor the sweetest new beginning.
