When the 2nd lead couple got their own main series 10 years later. πŸ₯ΉπŸ³οΈβ€πŸŒˆπŸ’•πŸ’•πŸ’• ✨ Addicted (2016) x Love After Addiction (2026) πŸ’• Fun Fact: Most of the scenes from @linfengsong1996 and @winwinmua presented here are behind-the-scene/offcam clips. Their characters You Qi and Yang Meng didn't get the chance to get intimate on the 2016 show officially due to its cancellation. LUCKILY, we get to see more of that onscreen from their new series. πŸ³οΈβ€πŸŒˆ (I remember gushing over that bts clip of them kissing offcam on 2016. These are my constructive criticism of the Live Action of ATLA. ✨ Good points: - Most of the casts are perfect for their role specially the trio, Suki, Kiyoshi, Zuko, Uncle Iroh, Azula, and Ozai. πŸ’• - The 2 original scenes added in eps 1 and specially 2 are soooooo unexpectedly great! πŸ’• - The wardrobe, bending effects and battle choreography are chef's kiss. πŸ’• - Avatar Kyoshi stole the show for me. Her little appearance is the best scene from this live action. πŸ˜€πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘ - The easter eggs from the comics are great addition too. πŸ’• - The gravity of the fire nation's brutality. πŸ’” βœ… "Could improve" points: 1) Writing. I know the writers tried their best to include as much as they can (from seasons 1 and 2 + the comics) for only 8 episodes but I found it too messy and clustered specially the stories in Omashu. I wish the original creators of the show was able to work with the whole team throughout the show from eps 1-8 to hopefully make the story more cohesive. 2) The core and some iconic scenes that could've been included to showcase the show's playfulness like Appa's "Yip yip" and the childish humor the team avatar has since they're still kids. 3) Azula and Ozai's appearances could've taken place in the next season. I love the actors don't get me wrong, but I find their scenes unnecessary for this season which could've been better explored in season 2 and 3. (Note: Daniel Kim's just sooo fucking hot and perfect for this role.) 4) I love Bumi's actor from Pitch Perfect but this role was just not it for me. I think it'd be better to cast a real old actor who can play Bumi naturally. If it happens that he can't do the stunts then might as well hire a double. It might work. ✨ Overall, the show is sooooooo promising. There's not much of a problem with the casts and the effects used on the show. Just the lack of cohesiveness on writing for me is the problem that could be improved. πŸ’• Rating: 7/10 πŸ’• I hope if there's a next season, the directors and writers could listen to the feedback of the audience and take it to their hearts for the show's improvement. I can't wait for the future seasons. #avatar #netflix #avatarthelastairbender by @iminlimerence
