this was NOT the race we was hoping for. such a disappointment as matt & i have dedicated so much time & had worked so hard for the past 4/5 months for this.

going into the race we was feeling good, calm & buzzing but once we got to farmers carry my body started to feel really numb & couldn’t really feel anything - must of been over heating as well as the venue was HOT (& according to matt because i don’t remember) i kept saying i felt dizzy and was asking him where i was ect. next thing i know i woke up in an ambulance and had lost consciousness for 20 minutes while medics were trying to help me.

i spent the next few hours having tests done, suffering from memory loss (didn’t know where i was, what day it was, how long i was staying here for, what i had for breakfast, my phone or watch passwords) which is the scariest thing ever lol.

ended up with 3 bottles of fluid drip, being sick multiple times throughout the night to make me feel a bit better, despite my memory still being a bit hazed.

just want to say thank you to @mattspiteri92 for not leaving my side & was helping me remember things (felt like we was The Vow in real life 😂) & @sadieprendxx & @justinmooi1 for waiting hours for us and completely smashing their race!🥹 taken in Köln, Germany by @imjamiluu
