"I am coming to love him, in two different ways. Face to face, and word to word."

SWIPE!

This entire illustration was a challenge to myself but it was so incredibly fun! I think I learned a lot during this. It took me around... 20 hours I think? Maybe 25😅 I listened to this song on repeat while working on this and guys... thats a whole lot of Goo Goo Dolls 💀 My Spotify wrapped will be interesting LOL. I reused one of the sketches from my short little video I did earlier, but I ended up changing quite a lot so it doesn't even really look this same anymore🤠 One of the details I like a lot about this drawing is that I snuck in a few of their actual letters to each other. Just some excerpts for my own enjoyment since its so small you guys can't even read it 🥲 oh and the pretzel up there are actually wedding rings. I can't unsee the pretzel though and I will have to fix that later😬 Anyway im just yapping at this point. Read this duology please 🥰

i have been thinking of these two for a while now and what a perfect way it was to break through my art block!

i only remembered to turn on the recording after finishing the sketch and valueflats💀 procreate has spoiled me by recording automatically 😭

I've really been working on creating ✨️scenes✨️ rather than just portrairs which is what I used to do. It's definitely a task to also create a background and environment to place the characters in, but I'm starting to see some improvement!

I had the absolute honor of bringing this swashbuckling scene from @kelseydangerous 's Voice of the Ocean to life! I had an itch to draw some pirates and Kelsey let me scratch it🤭

I got to clean up this old drawing to be used as a part of the cover for @elise.kova 's convention edition of Air Awakens.

The original drawkng was just a quick thing I drew on a single layer as an experiment, and now I'm so glad it get to be used for something so special!
If you didn't know Air Awakens is one of my all time favorite book series, and I try to re-read it at least once a year 😆📚🩷

"And where did you learn to dance like this?" I asked him.

"My mother did teach me something. She told me dancing was one of the only true ways to a lady's heart."

"And is that what you're trying to do now? Win my heart over?" I asked.

"If the blush in your cheeks is any indication, I think I already have." He smirked.

I can't believe @imjenndove brought one of the most ROMANTIC scenes to life 🥹🥹 somebody said "it looks like a fairytale" and all I could say is "for that one moment it was" and she captured it PERFECTLY.

DEADBEAT by @lbardugo is out, I had to pop in quick and post this🤭 Darlington was one my first commissions, so this feels like a little throwback.

Yassen x Elena, at the end of it all 💕

this soft scene in the cabin, where Yassen comforts Elena in her grief, is so precious to me and @imjenndove illustrated it beautifully! I LOVE the detailing of the cushions and blankets. the gold sparks in the air. his tender embrace.

The Phoenix King is foremost an epic political sci-fi fantasy, but gosh, this romantic subplot still hits me in the chest. I hope it hits you too 💕 by @imjenndove

Dying after all, is the risk of killing.

I can't wait to jump into The Knave and the Moon! The cliffhanger of first book was brutal ( i loved it)

“Are you afraid of me?” he asked matter-of-factly.
“No.”
She flinched as a warm hand closed around her wrist. He raised it to her face, showing her the goosebumps on her skin.
“Really?” he asked dryly.
“I’m not afraid of you.”

Sarai might be trying her hardest not to stare, but you guys can go ahead and ogle

also it's become my life's goal to make everyone read this
