A lot of people tend to think eating healthy is so expensive but I know the opposite is the truth. Eating foods that are unhealthy are more expensive and cost you more than money in the long run.

I mean think about it, when you eat junk food or fast food it does 1 of 3 things:

1.) It runs right through your body and you’re likely to be hungry again within an hour or so.

2.) You feel a sense of itis after eating the unhealthy food because your body then has to work extremely hard to process this food.

Or 3.) You end up gaining unhealthy weight overtime because your body is storing most of fats instead of processing it in ways that energize you. That can potentially turn into medical bills later down the line.

On the contrary side of that, when you eat healthy your body does again at least 1 of 3 things:

1.) It sustains your body, meaning you remain fuller longer and you’re not running back into the kitchen after 30 minutes.

2.) You feel energized after eating these foods because your body has consumed the adequate foods that are fueling you instead of decreasing your strength and energy.

Or 3.) The foods you eat contribute to your health in such a way that it helps you become stronger, sharper, or more physically in tuned. Thus feeding your growing muscles.

I’m telling ya, y’all think fruits and vegetables are expensive but don’t you get what you pay for? Isn’t the shopping experience at Target much more peaceful than shopping at Walmart? It’s because the quality is better. The customer service is better. Everything is better when you choose quality over quantity.

Stop saying eating clean is expensive, that’s a trapped mindset. Do better!

If you need a meal plan comment “HEALTHY” and I’ll send you the link to purchase mines 😋

A lil more tanned, a lot more toned.. To put things into perspective.. I did it in 60 days!💪🏼

I was happy with where I was on the left but I knew there was room for improvement and tbh, I’ve never felt better.

I spent the past 2 months staying focused on improving my athleticism, endurance, nutrition habits etc. I was sure to eat clean, stick to my regimens the best I could and put in the hard work of course.

It wasn’t easy but it made me.. a better me 🙂

.. now gimme my 10’ssss 😩😂

12 years in, here’s what I’ve learned:

1. Don’t focus on what your baby daddy isn’t doing, focus on God.
—— God knows what you need and I’ve never seen Him not provide for me. Pray about it and watch God work.

2. Be patient with your child.
—— It’s not easy doing it all alone but that doesn’t mean you should take out your frustrations on your child. Remember they didn’t ask to be here, you chose.

3. Choose better.
—— Perhaps you ignored the signs and the red flags but learn from your mistakes, take your time and choose better going forward.

4. Everything doesn’t have to be done in one day.
—— Do what you can, let God handle or send help for the rest.

5. Lean on your tribe for support.
—— Tapping in with your support system and being honest about how you feel at times helps to deal with stress. Don’t be afraid to be vulnerable.

6. Be gentle with yourself.
—— If you’re a single mother then odds are already automatically stacked against you, so just give yourself grace.

7. You have to get active!!!
—— Fill up your cup. You can’t possibly show up as the #1 mom if you’re always running on E. Get active whether that’s walking, running, lifting, yoga, whatever - move your body so endorphins can be released. I have a ‘𝟐𝟏-𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐒𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐝 & 𝐓𝐨𝐧𝐞’ workout plan designed to shred unwanted weight while toning up.

8. Waking up earlier before your kid(s) gives you quiet time to think clearly and hear from God.
—— Even waking up an extra hour earlier than you normally do will allow you a moment of peace before the world comes at you.

9. Find moments of silence to think.
—— Sitting in silence is a gateway to finding peace, let your mind relax.

10. Find a hobby.
—— That can be anything that gives you a peace of mind and takes your mind off of being superwoman 24/7.

You got this Mommiana, keep going! Send this to a Mom who needs it! 🩷

Just like the summer is coming to an end and the season is changing, so am I 💓

Summer 26’ stretched me in ways that at times felt insurmountable.

Some days I laughed.. some of them were the best nights of my life.. some of them felt like I was fighting for my peace tryna meet the best version of me, but perhaps that’s just what it’s supposed to feel like when you carry God’s light.

They say pressure makes diamonds, I can attest that “they” were right. 💎

Through it all I grew. I’ve changed. I respond with surrender to the things that I can’t control.. (although I’m not too far removed) lol

Most of those moments of growth were paired with the grief of releasing ways of my old self, but this summer I met a sweeter - more calm, yet assertive version of me.. & I like herrr.

In the day to day moments you don’t feel anything is different but it’s when you look back and notice that everything has changed. 🩷

Although I’ve known Jesus my whole life, August marks 1 year of me getting serious about my walk in Christ. God is still working on me but here are 6 things I’ve learned in the past year:

1. God separates to elevate
—— I’m sure you’ve heard this before but it’s really true. When God guided me into solitude, my life began to change for the better in so many ways (and still).. He wants alone time with you to shape your character

2. Rejection is redirection
—— I used to be hurt when I faced rejection from people and opportunities that I know I’m more than qualified for but I’ve learn that His “no’s” always lead to a better “YES”

3. All you need is Him
—— Out of anger I once asked God why do I have to do this alone? And God spoke to me and said “having me as your “partner” is the best you could possibly have”.. #Truestory

4. Obedience is Key
—— When I realized that I was doing what I wanted instead of listening to God’s instructions and moving in obedience, God began to speak to me in parables and gave me visions that were impossible to ignore.

5. This life is more spiritual than it is physical.
—— We’re never really lost, we’re just not taking heed and being obedient to the order and direction that is freely given to us by God Himself… hence the Bible.

6. There’s a breaking that happens before the breakthrough
—— God had to break me down before He built me up. He makes you new. You might have some of your old ways you’re still working through but ultimately you become a new person in Christ, and then you’re prepared to carry what you’ve been called to create.

Scriptures for reference:
𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐰 𝟔:𝟑𝟑
𝐈𝐬𝐚𝐢𝐚𝐡 𝟒𝟎:𝟑𝟏
𝐆𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝟏:𝟏𝟎
𝐏𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐦 𝟐𝟎:𝟒

Allow me to reintroduce myself. My name is Jessie, and I’ve been a personal trainer for 8 years.

What first got me into fitness was becoming a Mom. I wanted to be a strong, healthy, active mother who could keep up with my son and all of his adventures. I also wanted to gain more confidence and get in better shape because I wasn’t satisfied with my body.

The journey hasn’t always been a walk in the park—more like a roller coaster ride. But through all the ups and downs that entrepreneurship brings, one thing has remained the same: my passion for helping people grow physically and mentally through fitness.

I know what it’s like to start from scratch. I recently relocated from New Jersey to Atlanta, GA, and while starting over can be challenging, it’s also exciting. It gives me the opportunity to meet new people, build new relationships, and share my passion for fitness with a whole new community.

Being a trainer has taught me discipline, consistency, and the importance of showing up—even when it’s hard. There’s nothing more rewarding than helping someone build confidence, reach their goals, and realize they’re capable of more than they thought possible.

If you’re looking for guidance, accountability, and someone who genuinely cares about your success, I’m currently accepting new clients in Atlanta and the surrounding areas.

Let’s bring your dream body to life!

And if I could leave you with one piece of advice, it would be this:

Never chase a person, place, or thing. Chase your purpose, because it will always lead you exactly where you’re meant to be.

DM me “READY” to claim your FREE training session. 💪🏽🩷💛
