LESS THAN LOVE is out.

What a journey it was to make this project. The title, the songs, all of it has taken on new meaning for me over the time it took to bring it to life.

I wrote these songs while stepping out of a relationship that wasn’t quite what I thought it was going to be. In the middle of all that, I had to take a step back and really assess who I am as a man, son, brother, and friend. The artist in me took a back seat for a while, and it def needed to. That season led me to a lot of the clarity I have today.

Sharing my thoughts and emotions through music has always been uncomfortable for me. For a long time, I worried about what people would think. It’s a very permanent place to put something that means a lot to you. Somewhere along the way, I realized it doesn’t really matter. You either connect with it or you don’t. I think that comes with age tbh. (I’m only 26 I’m not unc yet)

If you’ve got some time, throw on some headphones and give the project a listen. I hope you can hear me in it!

💛

SPECIAL THANK YOU TO ALL MY FRIENDS AND COLLABORATORS!

This song felt like a complete mess for the longest time. it wanted to be a “I miss you” but also a reflection at the same time. If I’ve learned anything over the years of trying to date someone it’s that you’ll always have something left to say at the end, but sometimes it’s better left unsaid. That is unless you write music 😭 then it’s all gonna be said no matter what

Thank you to @idfksara for blessing this one with most elegant harp and @ajhuang.02 for bringing the saxiness to the party .

@mickeyyymars on the photos!

Hope this one is special to yall like it is to me! Enjoy my random dumps of photos too taken in Los Angeles, California by @imjfarr

IT JUST TAKES TIME. !! I wrote this project as a follow up to the last EP. To be fully transparent it was during a really strange time in my life. It seemed like everything fell apart on me at once. So I wrote RAT RACE and tbh it perfectly encapsulates the feelings I was working with at the time. I really hope you enjoy it :)

Here’s some pics from lately :)

Special thank you to all the wonderful people who helped me during this project:

I convinced myself at some point in life that I wasn’t a guitar player. Maybe it’s because I was surrounded by people better than me constantly. So when this song came together on the guitar first and the rhythm was a center piece for the entire song it felt really special. I felt like I was actually playing guitar on my song for the first time. (Even tho I had done so in the past). So this one kinda reignited some passion for guitar that had been tucked away :)

Special thanks to all of the wonderful people involved, couldn’t have done it without you ! :)
