‘SOLACE’
OUT NOW EVERYWHERE
#HELLUPSIDEDOWN

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

my first real project ‘SOLACE’ drops tonight @ 12 and I wanted to share some of my thoughts with yall:

To me solace is forgetting everything and doing what my heart desires.. and quite honestly that’s how I’ve been living since I started working on this project almost 8 months ago, and I don’t intend to stop.. I’ve always hated the way I been told to stay inside the same box and stick to the life that was made for me. It’s hard for me to accept the way I am but I think that is what’s most comforting at times is being myself. I was having the hardest time trying to figure out a concept and even title for this project, but by the time I had already finished the whole thing only then did I have it come to me, this had been my “solace”. I shut down and went to the only thing I know best and that is music every time. I’ve never put as much time and care into anything before, I tend to disconnect from my music the second I release a song because I have a hard time with marketing and promo being fully independent, but I want this to kind of break that pattern for me, i usually feel discouraged and like I’m not trying hard enough whenever I release music, but the truth is I’m stubborn and don’t want to do the same thing as everyone when it comes to posting my music because I feel as if I’m not doing what I should be or want to.

I hope you can understand that I don’t want money or to be the most famous person ever.
I only want you to listen.
