Nothing compares to being on that stage and feeling the energy from the crowd. Every show we play, we leave everything out on that stage. The sweat, the labors of rehearsals, and sometimes blood. It’s all a part of what we push forward to be, and we can’t wait to bring this song to the stage for the first time and see the reactions.

Want to see us in person? Tell us in the comments what city we need to hit next. 🖤

Dying to Be Whole is 16 tracks about the pieces of ourselves we lose along the way and the fight to get them back. This video gives you a taste of every song on the album, a few seconds each, front to back.

This record covers a lot of ground. Leaving home and watching the place you grew up keep changing without you. Digging up your past in therapy and learning to accept what happened. Going numb and fighting to feel warmth again. Relationships falling apart because nobody’s listening anymore. Every song is a different piece of the same story: being broken, and wanting so badly to feel whole.

We put everything we had into this album. It’s the most honest thing we’ve ever made, and we can’t wait for you to hear all of it on October 30.

Tracklist:

1. The Quiet Below
2. What It Was Like to Breathe
3. Afraid
4. Speaking
5. In Tongues
6. Like Heroin

9. R.I.P.
10. The Glass Sea

“I’m afraid that the life I knew is dead and gone.” Nobody tells you how scary it actually is. “Afraid” is about leaving everything you grew up with behind: your hometown, your childhood friends, even your family. It’s about starting a new chapter in your life and realizing you can be excited and terrified at the exact same time.

When I wrote this song, I was thinking about how friendships change over time. The people who used to know everything about you slowly become people you check in with once in a while. Nobody did anything wrong. Life just pulled everyone in different directions, and that kind of distance hurts in a quiet way you don’t always know how to talk about.

The hardest part is going back home to visit. You expect it to feel the same, but the town you grew up in keeps on changing without you. New buildings, closed-down spots, faces you don’t recognize. Your family has routines you’re not part of anymore. You’re standing in the place that made you, and it doesn’t quite feel like yours.

That’s what “Afraid” is for me. It’s growing up, moving on, and learning that home isn’t always a place you can go back to. If you’ve ever moved away and felt that mix of homesickness, nostalgia, and fear of the unknown, this song is for you.

“Afraid” is out now everywhere, and it’s part of our new album Dying to Be Whole, out October 30. Tell me in the comments: what’s the hardest thing you had to leave behind? 🖤

Bobby breaks down the lyrics behind our
second single Like Heroin.

Like Heroin was written about wanting to feel nothing.

Wanting to go numb. To shut out the noise, push away the world, and escape everything happening inside your own head.

The inspiration behind these lyrics is deeply personal. I lost my cousin to a heroin overdose, and that loss changed the way I understood addiction, grief, and the desperate need some people feel to escape their own pain.

This song isn’t meant to glorify heroin or drug use. It’s about the darkness that can make numbness feel easier than feeling anything at all.

If you’re struggling with addiction, substance abuse, or using something just to make it through the day, please know this:

You deserve more than numbness.
You deserve more than addiction.
You deserve the chance to feel alive again.

Whatever you’re using to escape the world doesn’t have to own you forever. You are worth fighting for. You are worth recovery. You are worth being here.

This is the power behind the lyrics of “Like Heroin.”

And that’s when I knew, I was more than just skin and bones.

Listen to the meaning behind our first single “Skin and Bones”, from our upcoming album “Dying To Be Whole”

Bobby breaks down the story and reason he wrote the lyrics and why he felt sharing this particular story was important and needed.

If you have gone through a great pain like this, but grew stronger from it, we celebrate you. And if you’re still finding your footing in that healing journey we salute you. Your stronger than you know.

Dying To Be Whole comes out Oct 30th 2026.
