Congrats to @imkojop on the opening of @wandleparkcafe 🍁 ☕️ 🍁

It’s an unexpected move for someone better known for pioneering the Afrowave sound - but then again, Kojo has never fitted neatly into one box.

As one half of @teamsalut, he’s helped produce hits like @afrob__’s “Drogba (Joanna)” and @yxngbane ‘s “Vroom”, while collaborating with a huge range of other artists including @mreazi @stefflondon and @tionwayne.

Away from the studio, Kojo runs @sciofsound - delivering creative, STEM-led experiences for children aged 5–12 (from holiday camps and school workshops to after-school clubs and birthday parties).

And now, this socially-minded entrepreneur has stepped into the community café space.

Wandle Park Café serves hot and cold drinks, sandwiches, toasties and chips and you can even grab a beer 🍺 (as long as it’s with food).

With creativity woven into everything he does, Kojo has big plans for the space including regular arts events and wellbeing workshops designed to bring the community together.

From music to education and now hospitality, Kojo isn’t just opening a café - he’s creating a space where creativity and community meet. 👏 by @imkojop
