Happy International Cat Day! It’s time to celebrate the most intelligent creatures in the World: the kitties! We are cute, sassy, little mischiefs with big hearts. We make your life way better than it would be without us. Sometimes, we are a little more crazy than expected, but how boring would your life be without us? Trust me, we love spending time with you, especially when you feed us snacks, but let’s not go into detail now. Always remember how lucky you are to have a cat’s love. So today, you should celebrate us with an extra amount of snacks.

How are you today? 😽 I was napping a lot in the morning sun after breakfast. We have busy days with Mom because she has acquired a new camera (again) and still selling tons of stuff on the internet to free up space in the storage. We also sell my wooden house, since I accepted my tent yesterday. I didn't give a💩 about the house, to be honest. 😹 But the tent is fantastic. 😻 She brought me in for the evening, so I could hide it and attack from there. 😹

Five years in this job have given me profound knowledge of how to sit and behave in front of the camera. But I’m also a bit picky—I don’t like all the sets Mom builds, and sometimes I’m just not in the mood for a shoot. In that case, she never forces me.
We take a lot of photos over the summer because we can use the daylight coming through the window, and we don’t need such a strong flash. I have no problem with flash at all, and Mom only takes a couple of photos of me—a series is 6–10 frames. Sometimes it’s just one if I strike the perfect pose immediately.
I need very minimal guidance; I know what to do and where to look. And I know that if I move too much, my glasses can fall off.

I am grateful that I found my human with a complementing passion. She loves to photograph, and I strike a pose—for snacks. Chicken only. She’s really obsessed with these glasses, though, so I had to raise my prices recently. This photo cost 7 cubes of freeze-dried chicken in advance. I think I was underpaid with the 3 in the past, but then I realized she was willing to pay more, so I asked for more. We did a full series with this setup; it’s not decided yet which photo will be in my 2027 calendar. All purrfect. 😽

I used to do TikTok lives back then. I was playing puzzles and people were watching. I miss the lives because Mom refilled my puzzle 3 times. 😹 What a luxury! But now she totally ignores how fast I am at this one. This is one of my favorites—the first one I got, but I couldn’t use it when I was a kitten. Later, Mom bought me a simple one that taught me how to use the stick. The stick is my favorite because it has two snacks in it. 😹

Mom’s 4-week vacation ended, and we were back to work today. No meetings—just scrolling through hundreds of emails and messages. How boring! After 4 meetingless weeks, I expected to have at least 3 today to set a reasonable level of snack input for the second part of the year. She says we’ll have meetings tomorrow, so I shouldn’t worry, but some people went on vacation later, so they haven’t come back yet.

You all know this lady is obsessed with me. Imagine how good life could be if you knew a millennial’s main goal is to provide you with the very best life possible. And you know what’s the best part? I chose her first! 😻

If you know, you know. I demand to be photographed when I see the opportunity. I think this time I went too early, but you shouldn’t worry, because I got my photos too after Mom finished her shenanigans. 😽

I love participating in everything Mom does, drawing included. She doesn’t have much time to draw because of her migraines. Her last finished drawing was before I moved in, back in 2021. Now, she drew me Erling to make me famous. I like bragging about her work, and it’s great that she lets me do it. I think she’ll cover my scratch if none of you offer a reasonable bid for my contribution. So, whoever comments nice first—be fast!

If you’re tired of all the creams, just get a cat. We know how to keep you young furever. We keep you indoors, effectively blocking photoaging. 😹 Our purrs reduce stress. Since we’re expensive to maintain, you won’t want kids—just be with us. A peaceful life furever. 😻😽

Although we weren’t watching all the games and cheered on our little Sweden 🇸🇪 first, then our little brother Norway🇳🇴, I was very happy to see a strong European 🇪🇺 unity blooming, with fans switching their jerseys to support the European teams still in the game. We were even happy for England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿, although we still carry some unhealed wounds from our infamous breakup in 2020. Maybe one day, you’ll come back, and Mom will resume ordering stuff from the UK. 😹 Big congratulations to Spain! ¡Olé, España! 🇪🇸🇪🇸🇪🇸#spain #worldcupfinal #fifa #worldcup #catsofinstagram by @imleopoldthecat

I put my paws on Spain! Then I decided this World Cup has to be Swedish too. FYI, I’ve refused to eat the Argentina snack entirely. 😹
