IMMEDIATE EFFECT

One of the younger names emerging from Stockholm’s electronic underground, Immediate Effect is carving out a space somewhere between electro, techno and leftfield club music.

Working primarily in a live format, his sound is driven by machines, rhythm and a raw, instinctive approach to electronic music — shifting between stripped-back grooves, twisted electronics and heavier club pressure.

Still early in his journey, Immediate Effect has already found himself sharing lineups with established names from Stockholm’s electronic scene, including Peder Mannerfelt, NELLIE and Yikes, with a recent live appearance at the final night of Spice 99.

There’s a sense of experimentation running through the project — less about fitting into a specific genre and more about following the sound wherever it leads.

For VILLA OCKULT — 10 YEARS, Immediate Effect brings his live setup to BAR15 on September 26th.

Expect raw electronics, heavy rhythms and a live set built for the club. by @immediate__effect

VILLA OCKULT TURNS 10.

Ten years of tattoos, art, music, friendships, and community.

For a decade, Villa Ockult has been lucky enough to be part of Stockholm’s cultural landscape — and even luckier to have had the freedom to make a living from the things we love.

A space for art.
A space to create.
A space to experiment, collaborate and express ourselves freely.

None of this would exist without all of you who have walked through our doors, trusted us with your skin, shared your ideas, opened doors and become part of the journey.

So now, we want to give something back.

To you.
To the artists.
To our community.
To Stockholm.

On September 26th, we’re taking over Bar 15 for a full day and night of tattoos, art, music, dancing and encounters.

This also marks the beginning of VILLA OCKULT INVITE — a new platform for bringing together artists, musicians and creators from different disciplines, giving them space to meet, experiment and do their thing.

Since tattooing has always been at the heart of Villa Ockult, we’ve invited 11 of our favourite local tattoo artists to join us for the day.

DROP-IN TATTOOS AND PIERCING FROM 15:00.

Come early.
Stay late.
Bring your friends.
Make some new ones.

FREE ENTRY 15:00-19:00
DRINKS ON US FOR THOSE WHO ARRIVE EARLY.

Come get tattooed.
Come see the art.
Come dance.
Or simply come hang out.
