Eleven years ago, on Friday 13th March 2015, there was a fire at Battersea Arts Centre @batterseaartscentre.

ROOM 13 is born from the imagined aftermath of that fire.

What if during @batterseaartscentre restoration, builders uncovered a sealed chamber hidden deep within the original structure? What they found inside was so disturbing that work was halted immediately, and the room was sealed.

Now, 11 years later, the door to Room 13 will be unsealed.

Brought to life by Immersive Octopus, this experience blends supernatural storytelling, chilling special effects, and immersive design, blurring the line between real history and dark fiction.

This October, the door opens. Are you brave enough to step inside?

We obsess over every detail.

Every costume is designed with purpose, from the silhouette and fabric to the smallest finishing touches.

Because costume does more than establish how a character looks. It reveals who they are, where they belong and the role they play within the story, all before they’ve said a word.

Room 13 opens its doors this October and the press are already talking.

Featured in Time Out London, The Stage and WhatsOnStage, Room 13 is a site-specific immersive horror experience set inside a mysterious chamber, discovered and sealed during restoration work following the 2015 fire. Eleven years later, the door is opening again.

Created with live performers and special effects, Room 13 invites audiences to uncover what has been waiting inside.
