I had a lovely afternoon in Grassington yesterday at @thestripeybadgers bookshop. They were running an event to celebrate the launch of @matson_taylor_ ‘s new book Roman Mornings which I can thoroughly recommend. I had such a lovely time that I forgot to take any decent pictures! What is the most troublesome problem I face as an author? Knowing how my books finish!! Because I don’t write to a plan I generally have no idea where I’m going. A great evening at @thegrovebookshop last night talking about my latest book LATE IN THE DAY. @bookshopmike asked lots of interesting questions about the book, its theme of trust, the secret at the heart of the story and all the characters and I waved my hands around a lot!
