The end of 2025 marked the end of the first year of the second half of the decade of the 20s. We’ve witnessed growth and transformation from many players in the local DIY creative scene since the end of lockdown.

In the last quarter of 2025, IMP! spoke to creatives based between Glasgow and Edinburgh, who hosted events as an outlet for their immediate communities and wider audiences. As we’ve stepped into 2026 so far, here’s a list of the events we’ll be recapping from.

Stay tuned as we'll be later releasing the full posts covering these events by @imp_tank

Tomorrow night the worlds of Scotland's underground Hip-Hop and Punk scenes collide at Swagfest powered by EarnestOnl1ne and MrFortnite - which will be taking place at nice n sleazy.

Whilst bringing crowds from different subcultures and communities the event also seeks to raise funds for Medical Aid in Palestine. If you cannot attend but would like to still support you can buy a ticket or dm Swagfest directly to make a donation by @imp_tank
