@impact.recs is HERE to help highlight the creativity of the folks in the underground with the release of "Here Comes Trouble Vol. 1" on Bandcamp and SoundCloud. With its release, we're hoping to help both uplift folks who help contribute so much to our scene and its sounds, further build the connections we all have amongst one another to keep supporting ourselves, and to further that support through this compilation's proceeds going to the Gender Justice League!

Brooklyn, our label head, labored over helping make this happen for countless hours, coordinating all of us together to help share the works of our community that sent all its skill our way. Together, we've all created something here that we really feel means more than just another compilation: it's a significant part of an idealistic goal. To continue bringing our community together in a way where folks can feel celebrated for their passions and works. To help all of our music find its people who want to dance and knock heads to it. And to prove how much better it is when we're building this base together and support our own.

Thanks for letting us continue to make an Impact! on your night, now let's make an Impact! on your hearing at home, too.

HCTv.1 is now available on Bandcamp and Soundcloud, and available on other streaming platforms soon.

Everyone please welcome @tdstrmusic to the compilation!

TDSTR is one of those artists who can pull from a million different corners of electronic music and somehow bend it all into something that feels completely their own. Rooted in furry spaces and influenced by plunderphonics, breakcore, vaporwave, hardcore rave, ambient, darkcore, and glitch, their music is chaotic, emotional, weird, and incredibly intentional.

We’ll be featuring their track “percolate inside” on Here Comes Trouble Vol. 1, but that’s not all!

We’re also extremely excited to announce that Impact! Records will be distributing TDSTR’s upcoming EP. “percolate inside” is the first single from the project, and we genuinely cannot wait to help bring the rest of it into the world.

TDSTR represents so much of what we love about this community, please go show them some love and follow their page, and keep an eye out for everything we’ve got coming next. ❤️🤍🖤💜💚

Everyone please welcome @_jaylaflame to the compilation!

Before opening submissions for "Here Comes Trouble vol. 1," we reached out to a small handful of artists we felt really captured the kind of energy we wanted this project to hold, and Jaylaflame was one of the easiest yeses for us.

What we love is how naturally their music moves between rap, melody, digicore, and classic furry music sensibilities in a way that makes a record stick with you. Whether you've been tapped into ONLY US, NEVER THEM, 222, or some of the newer releases, there's a real sense of identity behind everything they do, and that matters a

lot to us.

Be sure to check out their newest release "so easy"

More than anything, Jaylaflame feels like a real reflection of the community we care about: expressive, rooted in the scene, collaborative, and fully themself. I've been excited to share this one for a minute now, and we're really honored to have them on the

comp.

Be sure to check out @_jaylaflame and keep up with what they do next c:

And don't forget to submit to the comp!Deadline is nearly 2 weeks away! Though, we are looking forward to the ADHD furry submissions on the 15th

As Impact! we’ve always been dedicated to uplifting the underground scene, and y’all have really been showing up.

We’re about halfway to the deadline for Here Comes Trouble Vol. 1, and we’ve already received so many incredible submissions.

There’s only until Monday, June 15th at midnight, so if you’ve got something that bangs, send it our way.

All proceeds from this initial comp will benefit @genderjusticewa. We’re sorry for any confusion around that, and we’re excited to contribute to the incredible work they do around fighting anti-trans bills.

Be sure to follow @impact.recs for updates on featured artists, open mics, upcoming opportunities, and more.

Submission link is in the bio of @impact.recs and on our website. ❤️🤍🖤

Everyone please welcome, @lmaopinkgirl to the compilation!

Prior to opening submissions for "Here Comes Trouble vol. 1", we reached out to a handful of artists to see if we could feature them on this project, and Lucy truly embodies all the things we at Impact! Records love about our community.

Prior to the release of her hot new collab "FULL SEND IT!!" with @sixvving (uwu), her debut album "re:rodeo" is equally down to earth and personal, as it is wubby dubstep. Genremixing is a difficult craft, and Lucy's ability to express some nuanced and ethereal experiences further highlights the rising energy present throughout the record.

Authentic, danceable, down to earth, daydream-y- this pink wolf shows the heart of what we love about our community, be sure to check out her socials and follow her page so you never miss out on her next show 🖤🤍❤️

And don't forget to submit your work to the comp! Deadlines coming up fast, can't wait to hear what all we've got left in store!
