There’s something special about bringing people together.

The Nigerian Women Community UK Manchester Hangout was filled with meaningful conversations, new connections, shared laughter, and unforgettable moments. We asked attendees one simple question: “What was the highlight of today for you?” Their answers say it all.

It was a privilege to capture the smiles, the stories, and the memories that made this event so special.

📍Manchester, United Kingdom

What was the highlight for you?

Consider this your sign.
You don’t need a special occasion to have beautiful photos or videos of yourself. Book the shoot, dress up, show up, and let’s create something you’ll love looking back on.
Your next photoshoot starts with a DM.

Behind the scenes: Fabric Sourcing Day

Creating the right look for a shoot starts long before the camera comes out.
Today, I’m out sourcing fabrics, textures and materials to bring new backdrop concepts to life because the details really do make the image.
From the fabric shop to the final frame… come behind the scenes with me.

We were honoured to be invited to Cedar Mount Academy for World Afro Day 2026, where Yewande had the opportunity to share knowledge, experiences and the importance of understanding and celebrating Afro hair.

From hair care to culture and identity, conversations like these help create greater understanding and confidence around Afro hair.

Thank you, @cma_humanities , for inviting Yewande’s Braids to be part of such an important day.

Here’s to celebrating Afro hair today and every day.
