This week we welcomed Joanna Montas and the team from WORC to Impact Loan Fund for a conversation about what it actually takes to become a real estate developer.

Access to capital is essential to the work we do. A resident who can access fair credit builds equity. When organizations like WORC and Impact Loan Fund connect those pathways, the neighborhood keeps the value it creates.

Thank you to Joanna and her colleagues for making the trip and for the openness of the conversation. We are looking forward to building on it.

Another great turnout today for Building Stronger Communities Together! Impact Loan Fund’sJumpstart Kensington came together with PA State Rep Solomon’s Office to bring Philadelphia small business owners real conversations about access to capital, real estate development, and what it takes to invest in your own neighborhood.

Thank you to @frankrosariophilly @propertiescreation_, @juana_gutz__ , Nael Ramirez, and all the collaborators and participants at this morning's entrepreneur breakfast. We spent time discussing personal finance, real estate, and business. Juana helped one attendee recover $4,000 in unclaimed funds being held by the state of Pennsylvania, and helped another person locate over $100 in unclaimed funds as well. The event was a success and we are excited for the collaborations ahead and for continuing to create opportunities for our community.
