Turn This Tragedy into a Testimony

On January 29th, a fire devastated our church. But with your help, we can turn this tragedy into a testimony of resilience and hope.

We’ve found a property that can be our temporary space and, with your support, become a permanent community center—feeding the hungry, providing a youth center, and expanding outreach in South Providence.

Help us rebuild. Donate today - link bio

Who are you praying for?

During a 5:30 AM prayer walk this week, we met a neighbor preparing to drop her daughter off to school before work.

She shared that she had walked up to the doors of our church several times but never stepped inside because she felt anxious and wasn’t sure what to expect.

We invited her and her daughter to church, and with tears in her eyes, she said, “This is God speaking to me right now. I’ll be there!”

We are surrounded by thousands of people who need an encounter with Jesus. We may not reach everyone, but reaching just ONE person can make a powerful difference!

Like the woman at the well in John 4, one encounter with Jesus can change everything!

Who is your ONE? Pray for them, reach out, and invite them to church this weekend!

Join us this Sunday as we also celebrate Baby Dedication Sunday!

“Saying ‘I’m sorry’ is a catalyst for changed behavior” 🔥
@coachingmarriages

Thank you for giving us practical tools to identify and adjust the habits that can help us become healthier individuals and build healthier marriages.

See you at church tomorrow! We’re closing out our Healthy Habits series with focusing on navigating tension in relationships—marriage, family, friendships, and even our relationship with God. As we talk about how we navigate tension, we’ll turn our attention to Jesus and begin transitioning into our fall series through the Gospel of John.

FAITH WITHOUT WORKS IS DEAD. — James 2:17 📖

We believe God opens doors, provides opportunities, and directs our steps—but faith doesn’t always mean we sit still. We trust God AND we work.

This Sunday, Week 4 of Healthy Habits is all about FAITH & WORK—how our faith in God intersects with hard work, excellence, career, calling, and being faithful with the opportunities God gives us in all areas of our lives.

We’ll be joined by Pastor Katie Ballah, Chris Williams, and Chazeen Pemberton for a practical conversation about their faith journeys, career experiences, and what they’ve learned about honoring God through their work.

We’ll talk about:
• Trusting God for open doors
• Developing a strong work ethic
• Working with excellence
• Honoring God in the workplace
• Navigating career, calling & purpose
• Being faithful where God has you now

📖 “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord.” — Colossians 3:23

Come ready to be encouraged, challenged, and equipped—and bring your questions!

Mental health isn’t just a cultural conversation—it’s a church conversation.

“Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” — Galatians 6:2

Every healthy life is built through small, simple steps toward wholistic transformation. This Sunday, we’re taking one of those steps together by having an honest conversation about mental health through the lens of Scripture.

Our panel of experienced mental health professionals will explore questions like:

• Can someone have genuine faith and still need therapy or medication?
• How do I know if I’m experiencing anxiety or the Holy Spirit’s conviction?
• What should I do if I keep relapsing into the same struggle?
• How can I support someone battling depression or grief?
• When does technology become an unhealthy coping mechanism?

You’ll also have the opportunity to ask your own questions live during the panel.

“Come to me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28

Whether you’re seeking help, supporting someone you love, or simply wanting to grow in wisdom, this conversation is for you.

You are not alone.
