Today was Career Day at Kilpatrick and to say the least it was an absolute blast! And if I’m being honest, I think the kids had just as much fun as I did.

I had the opportunity to work with an amazing group of 4th graders where we dove into what it truly means to be an entrepreneur. We talked about confidence, perseverance, and the importance of investing in yourself whether that’s through school, learning new skills, listening to guidance, or simply reading to grow your knowledge.

But listen… we didn’t just talk, we got active.

We turned the room into a space full of creativity and energy! The students participated in a fun, interactive game where they expressed themselves through dancing, practiced public speaking, and confidently shared their very own business ideas.

And let me tell you… they showed UP.

From selling jewelry to creating healthcare products, their ideas were thoughtful, creative, and honestly impressive. They didn’t just participate, they owned it.

Moments like this remind me why this work matters so much. Planting seeds of confidence, vision, and self belief early on is everything.

Career Day at Kilpatrick was truly special and I’m grateful to have been a part of it.

A special shoutout to the entire school staff. Thank you for the warm welcome and for the work you do daily to nurture, guide, and pour into our tomorrow. Your impact does not go unnoticed 💛 by @impacttherapyatl

✨✨ Another one for the books — Rex Mill Middle School! ✨✨

Kids win every single time for me!! 🫶🏾 I had an absolute blast with them — and this time the teachers even got to spin the wheel, share some laughter, express feelings, and snag a few prizes too. 🏆💫

We’re so grateful for our partnership with Student Behavioral Health & Well-Being (SBHW) and the chance to keep showing up for these amazing students.

A huge shout-out to every principal & assistant principal, every counselor, every social worker, every teacher, every behavioral-intervention specialist, every janitor, and every special-ed teacher, coach, etc. who pours into these kids daily. 💛
