Ep 75 out now! Filmmaker MJ Alhabeeb, Jr. guests to talk about his 2025 independent psychological thriller-drama Plight, which poses the question: how far would you be willing to go to protect your loved ones? An unflinching, yet thoughtful film that he wrote, directed, and co-produced! The Official Premiere for @piggyduster was this past weekend and it was a heck of a turn out. This is the 4th film I produced to receive a wide release and I couldn’t be more grateful for the opportunity to share another important story with the world. I am a writer/director by trade but have fell into producing quite a bit of late. Working with talented and driven filmmakers like @jse.exe @alex_on_vhs @evansiamdb @juliama @brianlandisfolkins @echonaut13 @laffrey @mandyjgroves to name a few has been a real privilege and one I truly appreciate from project to project and artist to fellow artist. Come see us @lumierecinemala in Beverly Hills for the FINAL THEATRICAL SCREENING tonight at 8:30. If you’re not in LA but would like to see the film it is currently available for purchase exclusively on AppleTV #seeyouatthetop

🚨 BIG NEWS! 🚨 Piggy Duster has officially been featured in multiple news outlets (Local Fox, ABC, CBS, and USA Today’s news networks) also including the Associated Press, National Law Review, Bloomberg News, Today In Parenting, Society Arts & Culture, WGN, KDVR and more - through an internationally distributed press release!

“To me Piggy Duster is a story about love that doesn’t always know how to express itself.” says Ma. “The relationship between Keith and Vivian is awkward, funny, yet very human, and I hope viewers leave the film wanting to call someone they love.”

The recognition isn’t just for our the film, it’s for our amazing cast, dedicated crew, supporters, festival programmers, and every single person who has watched, shared, encouraged, and believed in what we’re creating. Piggy Duster continues to prove that independent stories matter!

Thank you for being part of this journey.
We can’t wait to share what’s next.

Last fall I had the privilege of producing and acting in an amazing new feature film @bluhasagunmovie written & directed by one of my best friends and closest collaborators @terrelllamont under his @sweetflyfilm banner and my @impavidentertainment banner. This marks the 6th project we have worked on together and one that I am incredibly proud of!

There are so many terrific artistic collaborators on this one led by our wonderful production team of @grantqhughes @elena.j.henry @itsemilylamont and @shand_kevin and our superbly talented cast led by @charlize_delenn @richdoesitall @annaleahhlol and @ms.ashabee to name a few. We had a phenomenal crew as well that poured in so much time to help bring this film to life. So much more to come! Keep an eye out in 2027 for Blu Has A Gun’s official debut! 🎞️ ✨🍿 📸 photocred: @stillwiley #seeyouatthetop #newfilm #indiefilm #cinéma by @impavidentertainment
