You wanna make God laugh, tell him your plans!! For those that know, I lost my mom in October 2021, ultimately changing life as I knew it from that day on.((TRANSPARENCY MOMENT)):: in the midst of grief, I lost my job, sending me into a deep depression. They say social media is all perception and what people want you to see and that’s definitely how I was moving. I would hang with friends but I still felt such a huge void. I honestly felt so lost in life with no direction.

I soon got another job and was back to the daily grind, trying to refocus my energy to more positivity but the devil was busy. The grief and depression would come in waves and at times it felt like too much for me to bear. I even began to have issues with management in my new position causing more anxiety… but I had to remember the lessons my mom taught me over the years and know I must put my faith into action and be the change agent in my own life.

Change can be scary, but you know what’s scarier? Allowing fear to stop you from growing, evolving, and progressing… I decided to no longer act in fear, but move in FAITH and bet on ME, leaving everything I know to start afresh in a new city with a new job opportunity, something I’ve wanted for a while but just never seemed to be the right time. God had a different plan for, allowing me to chase my dreams while unfortunately leaving everything I know and love. For those that know me leaving my friends and family has been one of the hardest things to do, especially with the support they show everyday but I’ll be back.

To my Sandy Kaye, not a day goes by that I don’t think about you. Moments like this hurt the most because you’ve always been my biggest cheerleader and not having you here physically saying how proud you are of me hurts. However, I know you’re looking down on me saying “ I’m proud of you Son of Mine”. I love you so much mama and I know you’re with me all the way. I will continue to make you proud.💕💗

So officially 2 months today, this Louisiana boy has said see you later to crawfish and daqs for the Big ATL! I’m excited for this new journey and all God’s blessings. ATL, I’m here! Who throwing the welcome party?! ⚜️✈️🍑 taken in New Home New Beginings by @impecableswag
