Chapter 32🥳🥹💟 This birthday feels different. Last year at this time, I was preparing to become a mother. I remember feeling excited, but underneath was fear. I wondered if I would be enough If I could truly be the mother my daughter needed me to be. Now, here I am, a mother, and a woman who has grown in ways I never could have imagined. Motherhood has taught me so much about love, but it has also taught me about myself. It is so easy as a mother to give everything you have to everyone else and slowly forget that you are a person, too. What I’ve learned is that prioritizing myself does not take away from my daughter—it allows me to show up for her as my whole self. I've learned to say no without feeling guilty. I’ve become firmer with my boundaries. I’ve stopped making myself smaller to make other people comfortable. I’ve learned that protecting my peace is not selfish, and choosing myself is not something I need to apologize for. My daughter has enhanced my life in ways I could never have imagined. She has given me a deeper purpose, a different perspective, and a love that has changed me forever. She has also made me more intentional about the life I create—not only for her, but for myself. This past year has brought me clarity. Most importantly, I stopped being so afraid. Afraid of what could happen. Afraid of what people might think. Afraid of starting over. Afraid of choosing myself. I realize that life is happening right now, and I don't want to spend it simply existing. I want to LIVE. At 32, I’m not claiming to have it all figured out I’m simply more grounded in who I am and more trusting of where I’m going. I'm grateful for the woman I was, proud of the woman I am, and deeply excited for the woman I am becoming & for my daughter, I hope she grows up watching me understand that motherhood never meant losing myself. I hope she sees a woman who loved her deeply while still loving herself. A woman who knew her worth. A woman who set boundaries. A woman who chose courage over fear. 32 is not just another year. It is the beginning of a chapter where I choose to live fully. Here's to 32. To motherhood. To growth. To boundaries. To self love. To becoming✨ by @impriint1
