Working out on a summer day. I didn't have my normal gym to go too. But that shouldn't stop you. Get out there, move your body and have fun! by @improvjames

This is the audition that booked the lead role in the feature film Land of Wolves. I played the character, Marcus O'Neill. You can watch the monologue without fear of spoiling the movie. As is often the case, the script changed and this monologue is not present in the film. But the character of Marcus still has the same background, the same heart, the same internal conflict.

This next part might spoil the film a bit for those who like to go in totally blind... This movie from director, Tommy Jackson follows four elite Navy SEALs who are captured after a botched mission and thrust into a brutal, underground deathmatch watched by depraved billionaires.

Right now you can watch the movie on Amazon, YouTube, Google Play, Apple TV, and Fandango home. Please give it a watch. You'll be supporting many independent filmmakers. True independent filmmakers.

Today is the day. “Land of Wolves” is officially available for rent/purchase on digital platforms such as Apple TV & Fandango at Home. You can stream the movie on your TV, Phone, Laptop, and more!

This film is controversial, brutal, and proof that indie filmmakers are capable of breaking through the Hollywood gates when they have enough grit and perseverance.

Thank you to all the incredible filmmakers, actors, and creatives who helped us bring this vision to life - I hope that you can watch this film and be proud of your contribution.

*You do not need a subscription to any of these services in order to rent/purchase.

Updated headshots by @christiegraceo

Rocking the longer hair and fuller beard. Aiming for period films like Train Dreams. Big bucket list item for me is to land a lead role in a Western. I've had a few exciting auditions these last few months. I know there's still opportunity out here, so I'm gonna keep showing up. Appreciating my representation for believing in me 🙏 @danielhoffagency @allaboutyoutalent

A BREAKTHROUGH MOMENT. In college at Central Washington University we were assigned to do a rockstar performance. I chose to perform Under Pressure by Queen as Freddie Mercury. I had only just started my training as an actor the year before. If you knew me back then, you'd know this was way outside of my comfort zone. I didn't see much of myself in Freddie, but I liked the song and the lyrics made me feel something. A sincere and loving sense of hope. So I studied his movements, listened to interviews, and did my best to get to know him. I tried to carry his confidence and his beliefs with me out on that stage. The crowd's reaction felt like an explosion and I did my best to ride that wave. Looking back, I feel like this was a moment where I let go of control and embraced that loving feeling.

"Why can't we give love one more chance."

Today is Thursday, and as silly as it is that the trend of posting throwbacks motivated me to post this, here it is.

Thanks to @sean.mcgehee for filming this all those years ago. And a humongous thank you to my cousin @taratory221 for your support ❤️

This 1 minute video was created for Kick The Ladder (kTL) in Atlanta. This was also part of the weekly improv show "Improv Annihilation" on Wednesdays at Dynamic El Dorado.

Our parameters: Video must be 1 minute or less. Exactly 3 shots (2 cuts). And it must include 1 slow mo shot.

Thank you to @pow2x @cozmuh and @nidhi917

Credit goes to Nidhi for that throw! What deadly aim 😉
