I kept wondering what this page should be about.

Triathlon?

Cooking?

Gadgets?

Motherhood?

The answer is… all of it.

This page isn’t about pretending I’ve got life figured out. It’s about saying yes to things that scare me, make me laugh, challenge me, or simply make life a little more interesting.

Some days you’ll see swim sessions that humble me.

Some days it’ll be homemade roti.

Some days it’ll be a gadget I absolutely didn’t need but convinced myself I did.

And every now and then you’ll get to watch me confidently follow Google Maps… straight into the wrong suburb. 🤦🏻‍♀️

If there’s one thing I hope this page reminds people, it’s that you don’t have to wait until you’re confident to start something new.

You can be nervous.

You can be slow.

You can make mistakes.

You can laugh at yourself.

You can still do it anyway.

Thanks for being here at the beginning of this adventure. I have absolutely no idea where it’s going, but I have a feeling it’s going to be fun.

Welcome to Tri with Rae. 🤍 by @imraeesa

I didn’t start with motivation.
I started with movement.
Tiny, slow, stubborn movement — even when life felt heavy and I felt behind.

10,000 steps didn’t change my body first.
It changed my mindset.
It reminded me that I’m capable. That I can rebuild. That small steps still count.

If you’ve been wanting to feel stronger, lighter, more in control…
Start with this. Start small. Start gently.
Just start. 🌿

And if you’re ready, I made a simple 7-day plan that shows you exactly how to build up to 10k without overwhelming yourself.

Save this post so you can come back to it anytime.
And comment START I’ll send it to you. ✨ by @imraeesa

I’m learning to put my energy into the things I want to grow, instead of the things I can’t control. 🌱

Be intentional about what you water. Your energy matters.

What are you choosing to grow in your life? 🤍 by @imraeesa

Life gets to be beautiful in the little things too. 🤍

You don’t need a perfect life to enjoy the one you have.

Tell me one little thing that’s been making you happy lately. I want to hear the small things. 🌿 by @imraeesa

Progress isn’t always obvious. Sometimes it’s just showing up when you don’t feel like it. 🤍

Keep going. Your future self is counting on you.

Save this as your reminder to keep going, and follow along for more fitness, motherhood and motivation. by @imraeesa

Things I know for sure:

Allah is good.
Duʿā changes things.
Tables turn.
People surprise you.
And life can change in ways you never saw coming.

Keep going. Keep making duʿā. Keep trusting Allah.

What’s one thing you know for sure? Tell me below. 🤍 by @imraeesa

You don’t have to become someone else. You just have to become more of who you are.

For a long time, I thought growth meant leaving certain parts of myself behind. But maybe it’s the opposite.

Maybe it’s about making room for ALL of you.

The athlete.
The mother.
The teacher.
The woman.
The dreamer.
The businesswoman.
The version of you that still wants to try something completely new.

You don’t have to choose one identity and live there forever.

You’re allowed to evolve. You’re allowed to expand. And you’re allowed to build something bigger than what you’ve known before.

What part of yourself are you ready to bring forward? Tell me in the comments. by @imraeesa

Spent the whole morning anxious about whether I’d be able to do it… so anxious that my stomach joined the conversation. 😂

Then I actually started walking and realised my body was completely fine.

Sometimes anxiety convinces us we’re not capable before we’ve even given ourselves a chance. Today was a good reminder that feeling afraid doesn’t mean you’re not ready. 🤍 by @imraeesa

For a long time, I thought finding happiness meant fixing everything around me.

Making everyone happy. Being everything everyone needed. Waiting for the “right time” to finally feel like myself again.

Then I realised I had been looking in the wrong direction.

I started pursuing myself.

Moving my body. Trying new things. Creating. Learning. Laughing more. Building something that belonged to me. And slowly, I started recognising the woman I had been underneath all the noise.

I’m still figuring it out. I still have hard days. But I’m no longer waiting for life to be perfect before I allow myself to enjoy it.

Maybe finding your way isn’t about having all the answers.

Maybe it’s about becoming curious about what your life could look like when you stop abandoning the parts of yourself that want to grow.

What are you curious about becoming? by @imraeesa

Maybe you’re tired. Maybe you’re questioning everything. Maybe it hasn’t gone the way you thought it would.

But I think you should keep going.

Not because I know what happens next.

Because you don’t either.

And honestly? I want you to stick around long enough to find out. 🤍 by @imraeesa

Women in sport don’t all look the same.

Some of us compete covered.
Some of us compete uncovered.
Some wear hijab. Some wear shorts. Some wear abayas, leggings, uniforms, or whatever lets them move, compete and feel like themselves.

The recent conversation around women being portrayed in sport reminded me of something:

There is more than one way to be a woman in sport.

Modest women are here too.
We lift.
We run.
We swim.
We cycle.
We compete.
We train.
We show up.

And being covered doesn’t make us any less strong, athletic, ambitious or worthy of being seen.

This is also what a woman in sport looks like. 🤍

Representation doesn’t have to replace anyone.
It just needs to make room for all of us. #sydneysweeney #ironman703training #mums by @imraeesa

A year ago, I was standing in a different chapter, unaware of how much life was about to rearrange me. Now it’s September again, and I’m looking back at a woman I once was with tenderness, gratitude, and a little disbelief. by @imraeesa
