Today’s view from the chair is another flashback provided by Grant Fletcher. Grant was the director for the Velocity Broadcasting series that I was the music mixer on.

This was a live 7.2 surround broadcast of Wynton Marsalis

No preproduction, minimal soundcheck, and BOOM we are LIVE, broadcasting around the globe!!!

Lots of folks may know my work on the big, loud, rock records.
But these minimal, stripped down projects are lots of fun as well.

thanks again Grant for sharing this!

check it!!!

Happy Birthday to my brother, @imseanmcdonald Sean McDonald! Can’t imagine navigating this life, especially these last few years, without your presence! Since day one, you’ve always been right there, through all of the good times and bad. Thank you for your example and for always showing me the way! Our relationship is truly a blessing! I say it every year but, I couldn’t dream of a better brother, fan, shrink, coach, motivator, confidant and best friend! Love you man!! Enjoy your day!! by @imseanmcdonald

Happy release day to my old friend @robbbayne !!
His new song, “carrying a gun” is out everywhere today.

Rob is a crazy talented singer, musician, songwriter that you might remember from his band, Dharma Sons.

He has been recording a bunch of stuff at his home studio, and asked me to play drums and mix some of them.

This is the next of what I hope is many more songs to come from Robb.

Check it!
