Then I got delivered. Gave my life to Christ. And for the first time I felt real joy, real peace, real love. The kind no person, no party, no substance ever gave me.

We all start somewhere. Instagram makes everybody’s story look pretty but mine wasn’t. It was dark and messy and I almost didn’t make it out. I hit rock bottom and almost took myself out before I finally said yes to God. You don’t have to get that far.

You don’t have to have it all figured out. You just have to want more for yourself.

I share this because I’m not perfect. I come from a life of sin since a very young age and I still fight temptations every single day. The difference is I want God more than I want any of it.

That life was keeping me from everything God had for me. Don’t let it keep you from yours.

a wedding guest…

I got to see the union of a beautiful couple yesterday, I see the Lord at work in my own life and around me.

Reminding me that the Love of the Lord is intentional, gentle, loving, kind, caring, He doesn’t forsake us, He knows our desires, our deepest wants and hopes and He sees us.

🏋🏽‍♀️ Consistently working out, even though I can’t seem to have self-control over my appetite
✨ A divine opportunity that led to amazing destiny connections
👯‍♀️ Time spent with my amazing, talented sister
🏊🏽‍♀️ Jumping in the pool on a school night because I knew it would make my kid happy
🎯 Target hauls coming soon
🌅 God never makes the same sky twice. Let that sink in.
😅 I had abs last week. This week I don’t, because I ate too much.
🎬 Can’t wait to let you all see my last shoot

Not pictured:
Trials and tribulations. A lot of working, traveling for work, and shooting acting auditions. Tears. Tugging with the Lord and asking Him a lot of questions because some things I just don’t get. A lot of praying, and some nights refusing to pray because I was upset with God. Hours of trying to build the perfect Q3 to-do list.

But also a lot of smiles, love from friends, worship and praise laughter and a lot of love to God too. He showed me these last couple of weeks that He does love me. (We should already know that, right? Well, sometimes it doesn’t feel like it.)

🤍 Keep doing your absolute best. That’s all you can do, and God WILL do the rest. Please don’t give up on your dreams. Your younger self is rooting for you. And don’t give up on God just because you can’t see or understand it. It’s okay. Trust that He is with you, and keep going to Him with all things, big and small. That’s where the trust and love grow.

Every tape submitted gets better and better—one step closer to the big role I’m praying for.

Working in sales taught me that every “no” gets you closer to a “yes.” Working out taught me that every single rep makes you stronger and closer to your goal.

Keep chasing your dream, friend. Don’t give up, perfect your craft, and use your waiting season to prepare. You’ve got this, and God’s got you. ✨
