POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

i was yours for so long. and you were mine for so long. so long that i've never lived a life where you weren't in it. until today. i know you were tired, im just going to miss you so much. i miss you so much already. our newest topic was me graduating. and you would always say, "I pray I live to see it." that has really been tearing me apart. but you walk with me now. so i know you'll see it just fine. getting to hear you tell me how proud you are of me is the biggest blessing. i'll carry that with me forever. next weekend i'll walk the stage and i know i'll have the purest spirit there with me. my grandfather lived to see his 95th birthday last month. and i got to spend it with him. that's a whole lot more than a lot of other people can say so i'm grateful for that. i pray God wraps his arms around you at those gates. i pray you rest peacefully knowing you gave this family everything we could ever dream of. i'll miss your stories, our phone calls where i had to yell just for you to hear me, you saying "im proud for you tee", you watching me catch fish, roadtrips, surprising you at home, hearing about how bread used to cost a quarter, and everything else. i remember how weak you were when i showed you i got your birthday tattoo'd. im glad you were able to see it. i hope you come visit me in my dreams. i love you so much you can probably feel it in heaven. we just ran out of time. get your rest old man. 3.9.1929-4.27.2024. by @imteemf
