New lifestyle update: It has been two months now since I became a banquet beverage manager at the Venetian. It’s incredible how every cocktail and event from my past has prepared me perfectly for this opportunity.. This is all basically a day in my life. Lots of 12 hour days, but I’m loving every minute of it and still managing to throw some extra curricular activities in here and there.

While I still plan to conquer my full Ironman in April and represent the @vegasmarathon this January, I have to admit, I finally realized that aiming to get it all done, is going to have to be good enough for me. It was really really REALLY hard for me to be ok with that decision, but it’s a decision I had to make.

Anyway, from now on, it’s going to be super fun to join me whenever the opportunity arises because nothing when it comes to swimming, cycling, and running will ever be serious work. We are just going to throw it in when we can! First up is the vegas marathon in January and I hope to have some friends join me! Today I’m feeling a little bit tiny. Not a problem for me but that day I keep saying will come, is probably finally here now. I have the inspiration to add strength training to my routine. This weight training is giving me a great excuse to spend more time in the pool these days. I’m a huge fan of this type of strength training. I highly recommend it, especially for those just starting out and wanting to ease themselves into a doable training routine. taken in Las Vegas, Nevada by @imterribee

A few years ago I almost broke my neck trying rollers for the first time. 🤕

A few upgrades later and they are feeling good now. I didn’t even know smart rollers exist, but another toy my friend lent me to try out has me wanting more! 😆 taken in Las Vegas, Nevada by @imterribee

I was lent these cool little gadgets to see how they would help with my swim.

I was totally blown away by how it broke down each and every single stroke. 🤯

I knew I wasn’t a great swimmer, but at least now I know exactly what I need to do to fix everything. Lots of work ahead and huge thanks to @vooduranger for letting me try these out. I’m thinking the investment may be worth it. 🤔 taken in Las Vegas, Nevada by @imterribee

Not going to lie. When it’s 109° outside it’s super welcoming to run on a treadmill. And it really felt as if I was flying! 🏃‍♀️💨

Trying to fit in the training like an executive level athlete. Over 40% of Ironman participants identify as executives, CEOs, business owners, or upper-level managers. At this point in life, it seems I no longer have any excuses left not to do an Ironman.

After a 12 hour shift it’s nice to have a day off, but boy am I super grateful for this investment I made with the @endlesspools . No more wasting time driving all the way to the gym or lake to get the swim in. Now I can just hop in for a quick session before shower time!

🚨E-BIKE OWNERS PLEASE READ⚠️
This is what was left of the bike after the battery exploded and CAUGHT FIRE. The crazy part is it wasn’t even charging.

Our house is still standing thanks to @vladslickbartender and his keen sense of smell, which had him smelling the fumes before the walls caught fire. It could have been an absolute catastrophe. 😱

He bought this Deepower e-bike in May 2024 for Burning Man and used it only a couple of times. When we contacted Deepower customer support, they said the bike is out of warranty and the model has been discontinued. So they won’t bother investigating. 😧

If you or anyone you know owns an e-bike, please be aware.

I may be a college dropout but I’m still a fan of the Runnin’ Rebels. 🏀

UNLV is the best place to run in the summer heat. Plenty of shade to give the illusion it’s not too hot to be out there, 🌳 sprinklers are always going off somewhere so you can cool off, 💦 and you can even drop by for a visit with Tark the Shark! 🦈
