There are people who belong to chapters of our childhood that we never realise were shaping us.

When I was 8, the daycare was more than a place I went after school. It was a second home, a place where I was cared for, where I learned, laughed, grew, and made memories I still carry with me.

And somewhere in those memories, there were You, Aunty & di.

I was too young then to understand what it meant to have someone look out for you like a big brother.

Years later, life brought the frame into my story.

And somehow, you’re still doing the same thing standing beside, supporting me, believing in me.

Maybe some bonds don't need years of conversations to survive.

Maybe some people simply become family, and time has no say in it.

This artwork is my little way of saying thank you
for the childhood, for the memories, and for being there again when I needed someone to stand beside me.

Somewhere between then and now, you stopped being just a memory.
