Some days just go off, powder, park, backcountry, hell, even a groomer day. When the frequency is high and every one is tuned in, its go time. How do we create that? The right people, conditions, and a few intangibles have given me the best days on skis and the best days behind the camera.

These photos are from one of those days. All the local heavy hitters were in the @palisadestahoe park. You could feel everyone feeding off of one another. The style was floaty and the grabs were clean.

Needless to say, I stacked shots. Hoping for more of these days soon. 🙏🌬️

Well this build worked out well. Despite never having hand-built a large step-up before, the stars aligned and the speed, takeoff and landing all worked perfectly together first hit. Stoked to finally land a backflip on a big jump to dirt! Big Thanks to @alexsquirrely for helping stack dirt (and logs), and to @steezworks_productions for the Coaching and Photography! by @in.shain

Was on my way to BC to ride Whistler and cliff jump with the boys, but had to cut the trip short due to blowing a ligament in my knee (again; probably MCL this time). On the bright side, I’m almost back to full range of motion even though it’s still weak and painful. Remember, kids- you’re never too old to learn new tricks. HOWEVER, don’t take your youth for granted- it’s far more fleeting than I ever imagined. Stay strong, flexible, and try scary stuff while you still can without serious injury. ❤️ 🎥: @_aaron297 @irj.or by @in.shain

Found enough chanterelles, bear’s head, elfin saddles, Floccularia, spring coccora and grisettes to make a double portion of Hank Shaw’s chanterelle soup. This dish is delicious. I’ll post the recipe in the comments. I used the leftover egg whites to make meringues. by @in.shain
