Understanding the difference between knit and woven fabrics is one of the first things that changes the way you sew. Knits stretch and move differently, while wovens hold more structure, but there’s also SO much more to learn beyond that. The final lesson and one of the most important is how to refill your bobbin🧵 You will usually fill up your bobbin thread with your matching top thread color to have a seamless look. You will have to refill your bobbin every time you run out, and you will run into situations where you are sewing and don’t realize it has run out and have to try your best not to crash out! Just refill it or refill a few of the same color for every project to set yourself up for success! In part 4 I will be sharing how to actually start sewing on your machine and my tips for straight lines. by @in.vaedstudio

In this video I’m breaking down sewing needles and showing exactly how I thread my machine step-by-step.90% of sewing machine problems are usually just incorrect threading. Skipped stitches, tension issues, thread bunching, breaking thread. Before you panic, rethread your machine completely. One missed guide can throw everything off.
