The art of an edit 🎨My take on the “Yes, But” trend of finished image, vs the raw file. Everyone gets to see that finished, polished version, but almost no one-but me-ever sees the RAW. I love the transparency of this trend with what I see, out of camera vs what ends up on social media or framed on a wall somewhere, so I decided to jump on it too and share some of my before and afters. 💥RunIt💥Had the opportunity to photograph some incredible hits for @runit.league last week. I have to admit, I wasn’t super familiar with the format but it didn’t take me long to get into the swing and capture some of the walk out magic and the athleticism that goes into this sport. I also got to be present for the first ever running of the women’s format and that was incredible to watch. Sunshine Coast Scenes 🌄⛰️Some of my favourite shots of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland across the years…so many viewpoints, leading lines, little lakes, bent trees, solo trees and occasionally some beautiful freak weather conditions. Tough Mudder 💪I had the opportunity to photograph Tough Mudder on the weekend-back in QLD after a few years hiatus. I always love when I get the chance to photograph fun people doing fun things-and this is definitely definitely one of those events. Sitting beside this lovely mud pit, I eventually ended up pretty muddy myself but it was such a fun day out listening to everyone screaming and laughing and complaining and laughing again. Also, RIP to all the shoes, watches, clothes and skin lost in the pursuit of greatness and fun. Looks like it was worth it…10/10 recommend…kinda want to do it myself now.
