Sharing some #selflove as I read about it in the paper today started by @kateupton
More often than not,we women forget to love ourselves amidst the cacaphony of life ... especially we mothers. We feel that our utmost goal is to bring up our kids and raise them strong enough to face the world and be the "well behaved" individuals the world wants them to be.

Dear women, you are individuals before you are mothers.Raise yourself up too, so you nurture them better.I raise myself up as a mother of two boys, who wants them to make their own mistakes and learn from them while always being there, watching their steps and guide them.I raise myself to be fit for them to take care of them.I pamper myself once in a while to look good, so I feel good for myself and for them.I am strong because despite several health issues ,I continue to fight back and emerge stronger than before.Don't forget you are the most wonderful person, that's why God entrusted you with these individuals he sent in your life.☺️ Love yourself to be able to love them better ❣️❣️❤️ To all the mothers and women out there ...just know you are beautiful and strong! #sharestrong

Knocking on heaven's door since you left us 3 years back today.

Na sirf tasveeron me ,
Yaadon me aur dil me tum ab bhi zinda ho aap papa.
Aur hamesha hamesha rahoge.

Every now and then I shed a few tears remembering you and missing you.
I know if you would have been around you would have consoled me in your trademark style and assured me it will all be fine. I pray and hope Allah has kept you amongst his beloved people. Who would not fall in love with that smile now? Love you now and forever.

4 years of missing this shoulder to lean on
The embrace that was just so warm
That reassuring voice
That effervescent laughter
Those reluctant arguments.
None of it is coming back
None of it is being forgotten
I might miss making posts for so many ocassions but, documenting this day each year, just will be like adding a special message for you on the day you left us and moved on.
You surely won't ever read these but,my children will remember and you will continue living on with us as beautiful memories live in the photographs.

A father's love for their daughters is incomparable to any other love .No one can love a girl more than her own father,no one! No matter how much ever anyone says they do.It's the purest love, non conditional and knows only "giving"

Love you papa, always always each day of my existence.

My Delhi trip this time was a one with many firsts.
To begin with, I left my 3boys alone for the very first time. I had a house help who offered to fill in as much as she could in terms of helping the kids with their tiffin and evening nashta, setting of their wardrobes etc. She went absconding and incommunicado days before my trip.I was a nervous wreck but, hired a replacement who managed with basic help back home.

I was travelling alone by myself after almost 13 yrs! With my health a bit wobbly, I was extremely agitated about how my trip would go.

The first day I landed in Delhi my sister Deepa came to pick me up and I had to sort out some pending post office work. 3 hrs there and finally I got my job done. Our government offices aren't that bad after all.

From there we headed to catch up for lunch with my school an office ki best friends( Silky & Shruty) at Diggin cafe Chanakyapuri. After a hearty meal and loads of laughter and catching up, my friend Silky and I headed to GK for a bit of shopping like old days.

An hr or so in GK and I felt tired as hell. Ended the shopping with a lovely silver and diamond studded nose ring from our favorite shop since school ' Silofer.'

We reached back at her home and I spent some amazing time with her kids and crashed soon after dinner.

Next morning, we headed with my sister to dad's bank and the work took 4 hrs to finish over there. Had my friend Silky not been there it might have taken us 4 days. Since she's a lawyer, with her help, also thanks to the complete paperwork we had our work was done in hours. What followed this was a very interesting get together of my Facebook group " Chai pe milte hain"It was a small group of 16 people but, what fun we had cracking silly jokes and knowing each other better. Heartfelt gratitude to all those who came to meet us, I loved it and how!

We winded up the day with a cosy family dinner with Deepa's family and Silky's kids at Sandhouse Gurgaon.

My last day in Delhi I took off to meet my very gorgeous friend who is now a very successful and famous blogger Rishu. We met for the first time but, the instant we met it was like a roller coaster of emotions. Seemed like we were by @inaaya12
