Surfing has such a learning curve, and I have a long way to go. But I've been able to surf longer, pop up faster, and catch more waves lately thanks to the strength and mobility training by @surfstrongwithkat . Going on my fourth month with her and so grateful for her program 💪💕

Rocking my favorite @ripplixusa hat, which I won't stop talking about. It's made sustainably and stays on my head through every turtle roll and washing machine cycle 😂👌

@stingraysurfs , my new favorite board! 🏄‍♀️ 🙏.

you no longer have to surf alone! ⭐️ today we got out in the water with a small group of girls — keeping things intentional, keeping the lineup uncrowded + bringing more girls out to the sea. it was so fun meeting some new faces and getting everyone out there. Adventure Crew isn’t just surfing either. we have sailing days, hikes, beach hangs + more coming up.

So happy we went with @socaloceanadventures for our Catalina trip. Tim and the crew made the experience fun, safe and truly memorable. Special thanks to @swimmer_dude for taking us snorkeling, and for the epic pictures and videos to document our adventure🙏🏽🐟🦭🐬🙌🏽

An amazing day of surfing and skating... between the two of us:

✅️ injured knee
✅️ dislocated rib
✅️ whiplash
✅️ cut toe
✅️ scraped palm
✅️ scraped back

We also got stared down by a pretty sizable seal and a much smaller man with a cocked gun, not as part of the same incident, but both within 10 feet of us on the same day.

But! We caught some sick waves, floated above colorful fish (and more seals), tried new things and pushed our limits.

Sitting at home patching ourselves up later, we laughed so hard and unanimously agreed it was the best day ever.

Come on the next adventure with us? 🤣

Four hours in the water. First there were waves, then there were paddle party bumps, then the ocean turned into a glassy lake. The lineup quickly adopted us, the morning sprinkled with funny little cross-stepping attempts and stories of epic rides from the local old-timers.

The tide rose and all our new friends aborted the mission. The two of us stayed, Chicken Joeing on our boards, studying the clouds as they got thinner, watching the sun come out and turn the water turquoise green.

After a period of calm, a random disoriented wave came through and made a bunch of noise. A turtle popped its head out, staring at the whitewash in surprise, as if to say, "Excuse me? I was meditating here." An hour in the water after the waves and the people left, just floating... just being.

The wipeout picture is by far my favorite 😂 So many good character building wipeouts that day 💪😂 Natalie, I was looking at some of the others and went, what in the world, my knees on the board, butt up, head in the water, I must have been praying to the ocean gods??? 🤣

Thank you Sabinka for organizing such fun get-togethers. It was great surfing with you twice this weekend💕 Thank you Natalie at @swelltidestudios for documenting these moments so beautifully, was great seeing you again! @celinadpt , I loved all the giggles, shared wipeouts, and heart-to-heart talk!! 🤗 💙.
