Travelled from Puglia to the Amalfi Coast…and everywhere in between… by train bus and walking! Indulged in the food sites and culture 💕loved the sunshine and the seas… what an incredible region we experienced! My dream of travelling the world is happening… one country at a time🖤 by @inbloomfleurs
Views from high above Positano and the Amalfi Coast… then the seaside villages down below…the colours of the buildings contrasted with the blue green of the ocean was breathtaking 🐠 by @inbloomfleurs
Sorrento and the island of Capri🐠we took a boat excursion in and around the island of Capri- the azure water of the Mediterranean ocean was spectacular… swam off the boat and explored the grottos and gorgeous bays around the island- was the perfect day!☀️ by @inbloomfleurs
Our last day in Ostuni. We went to the sea and spent the day basking in the sun and swimming in the ocean… Ostuni has been the perfect middle ground for travelling to all the other nearby villages via train and bus. We said goodbye to our air b n b @starlighthouseostuni and our super host Gianni- he was amazing!!! We loved our stay there❤️ Now off to explore the Amalfi Coast🐠 by @inbloomfleurs
Travelled to the UNESCO world heritage town of Alberebello- STUNNING doesn’t come close to describing this fantastic region where the Trulli houses are scattered throughout the landscape. These little houses were something out of a fairy tale… pure white with a very specific rooftop detail. Set against the pure blue Italian sky it was so beautiful. There were restaurants, stores, vacation rentals in these Trulli houses and by far the most unique dwellings we ve seen so far. This town is not to be missed- there is so much to see!! Great day of sightseeing! by @inbloomfleurs
Took the trains to Polignano a Mare and Monopoli - two of the coastal towns. The architecture and vibe of these two spots were wonderful! The seaside cliffs and blue green water were fantastic to see. The swimming was unreal … it was so warm! The spots were like something out of a movie… great food and great people! We indulged in some fresh seafood and artisanal gelato- highly recommended! Then back on the trains to Ostuni! The train service in Italy is fantastic- there are two tiers- you can go by regional train ( cheaper) and a little slower because it’s a commuter train or you can take the high speed train which will get you to your destination VERY quickly! Both are fabulous!🚞🚄 On to Lecce! by @inbloomfleurs
Gorgeous days… exploring this town… so many interesting characters and vibes…such a blend of old and new… just glorious🖤 by @inbloomfleurs
Ostuni… known as the white city… think gorgeous white plaster painted stone buildings… white cobble stone streets… white twinkle lights at night… this is a magical place…we did the Saturday market this morning and the produce and cheese/ salami / bread… just such beautiful food… explored the city the rest of the day and got to see two gorgeous weddings taking place…there’s magic happening here💫💫💫 by @inbloomfleurs
