Still hasn’t sunken in that I went to this iconic Lake Como Wedding Venue. Every square inch was so stunning!
The design, the venue grounds, the VIEW?! I mean… come on. I was only DREAMING of doing something like this just a short while ago.

While my style can often be on the brighter side, I also love to utilize natural and direct light to cast shadows and create drama and dimension. Not to mention it’s fun to switch it up and get creative!

Getting married in the city of love is a whole new level of romantic… but it’s the iconic monument in the background for me 👀

I absolutely loved working with these models! We had so much fun on this unexpectedly chilly and cold morning! I have to admit that I never really cared much about ever visiting Paris. But as soon as I got there… I understood the hype, the fascination, or even the obsession that some have for this city.

On one of the days exploring, I decided to walk for as long as I could, seeing as much as I could see. I witnessed a little boy kicking a soda can as if it were a soccer ball, friends playing a game of mini chess on a park bench, couples lining the Seine drinking wine and giggling, groups of people playing cards on blankets in iconic parks, and a pair of what seemed like unlikely friends having a friendly match of ping pong.

I witnessed so much love, and life, and joy. It was inspiring. Such a massive city, but it emitted an overwhelming feeling of warmth and coziness.

What started as a place I didn’t care for ended up being a real-time bucket list addition that I got to fulfill!

So, SO thankful that my work brought me here to witness this. Not just to take photos, but to see the world and to see the love and light within it. What a gift ❤️

I pray that a rain plan like this finds you 👏👏👏

Unfortunately (and fortunately, because I knew the drill), this was not my first hurricane wedding.

When I tell you that the Boxwood Estate has the most exquisite rain plan I’ve ever seen, this is everything I mean!!!
When you hear vendors say “pick a venue you love, even with a rain plan”… the Boxwood is the epitome of that!

The next week of my content may truly be about this very topic!!!

When I say this is something I am SO passionate about, I mean I stand ten toes DOWN!!! Your venue, your vendors, and everything in between should be prepared for a rain plan!!! If you don’t love the rain plan, don’t book the venue.

Also… the details have taken my breath away!

Rich in life because my whole job is documenting the most joyful days 🥹
Watching you marry your person and documenting the celebration with your friends and family is by far the most rewarding thing.

Someone recently said on a phone call that “after the cake is eaten and the flowers wilt, the photos are the only thing we’ll have…” and I could not agree more. And how rewarding is that?

I feel like photos are something we take for granted until we realize they hold more value than we could ever know. And I can’t explain how deeply that responsibility hits me.
