The first EVER Adaptive @festivusgames was incredible and empowering. Today we watched our athletes push past tears, exhaustion, and fatigue to overcome self doubt, hit new personal records, and leave with confidence and pride in themselves. We are so much more than our disabilities; we are #ATHLETES

Timothy’s first day lifting. He said he couldn’t squat. So, naturally we paired him with a badass athlete that also has bilateral leg cerebral palsy to show him what he CAN do. Alex quickly grabbed a bench and showed him how he started to learn back squat, using the bench to assist with stability.
