PROJECT BLUE BEAM
NEW COPIES AVAILABLE

We have just a handful of print overruns from our chapbook that last year sold out in less than 24 hours.

Project Blue Beam, a 1990s conspiracy theory by Serge Monast, claims global elites will use holographic illusions to fake an alien invasion or religious event and install a new world order. This project explores how the narrative adapts to modern phenomena like Starlink and military UFO footage, analyzing how fringe beliefs reflect broader cultural anxieties regarding authority, technology, and the manipulation of information.

64 pages, 11.43 cm x 18.42 cm, printed on Risograph (#0073BA Blue/#AC936E Metallic Gold) by @nothingnewprojects .

Get it now for $17 + shipping. Collect in person option available.

Here’s a look at Night 3 of Camp Serif: Zine Build! The final night of Camp Serif’s first event.

Bridging the first two nights together, campers assembled their analog and digital imagery into an 8 or 16 paged zine. Each page was printed, cut and hand assembled then scanned for final documentation.

We’re so proud of the work everybody produced and excited to share what they created. More on that, soon. taken in Toronto, Ontario by @incorgem

Here’s a look at Night 2 of Camp Serif: Digital Integration!

Building from the analog collages created on Night 1, campers brought their physical work into digital workflows, exploring how an image can shift as it moves between mediums.

Through printing, scanning, layering through digital manipulation, everyone reworked their collages into new compositions while continuing to develop the ideas explored the night before. These digital explorations are another step toward the final night of Camp Serif, where campers will assemble their work into their very own zines.

Here’s a look at Night 1 of Camp Serif: Analog Collaging!

Rooted in John Berger’s Ways of Seeing, campers focused on what could be brought into an image, how it might be encountered and how what we place around it can completely shift its meaning.

Campers pulled from magazines, printed matter and all kinds of imagery to build analog visuals and develop new meanings from what was already there.

Through individual experimentation with the materials provided, everyone left with something uniquely their own.
