Where do I start!
Miss Juneteenth Louisville, Kentucky 2022 title. To be the first woman to ever hold this title is a true on honor, I will carry this title as such, with grace, hospitality and style of course.
Thank you to the @missjuneteenthky organization for providing such a spectacular opportunity! To my pageant sisters who graced that stage along with me, you ROCK, period! We made history, remind yourself of that, daily if you have to, YOU MADE HISTORY ON June, 16th 2022 being the first contestant, a movement has been created and you helped initiate the flame 🔥❤️
Thank you Princess Cureton @me_hairandi for directing such a prestigious pageant and co-creating along side of Ms. Wanda, a coordinator for the Mayors office, she pushed for purpose and the outcome was extraordinary! Thank you Miss Krystal @miss_krystal502 from 104.7 WLOU for being a leader in the event as well, it was an honor to meet you in person and I can’t wait for what you have in store for us.
Miss Krystal, Ms. Wanda, Princess and staff, thank you for an opportunity for many to prosper from, now and years to come.

A question that seems to almost plague humans, especially Christians: What is my purpose???

We can find ourselves serving and operating in different programs, organizations, communities, etc., and still feel unfulfilled. In my journey of following Christ Jesus, I have learned through experiences the Word of God, trial and error, and great counsel that, “he who has an ear, let him hear what the Lord is saying”

Meaning, we have to seek the Father to know what the Father has need of concerning His child. What is it that He has called our hands to do?

Living in frustration is different from experiencing challenging moments that build us, strengthen our character, humble us, and encourage us to deny our flesh to please the Lord. Burnout is not the response of an ordained call, assignment, and/or position from God.

Let us lean into wisdom, grow in integrity, live with accountability, and walk out our calls from God unashamedly.

Sometimes when the Lord is using you to share His Word, you will feel resistance. Don’t allow the resistance to intimidate you or move you out of your assignment.

Love the people, but attack the spirit. And how do we do that? With the Word of God, written and spoken by way of the Holy Spirit. 🔥

I’ve experienced this many times in ministry, so I’m not only sharing what Scripture teaches, I’m sharing what I’ve lived through. Don’t shrink because of what you’re discerning. Press in. Say what the Lord has given you to say. When it’s truly the Holy Spirit, He is always right. It may not be revealed in that moment, but in time, the fruit will speak.

I’ve been asked many times about boldness and steadfastness, and I praise God that the evidence of the Lord’s work in me has become evident because WHEW! 😭 I can’t boast at ALL, but I am thankful for what the Lord is producing.

And remember: we can be bold in Christ without being ugly. 😊

Stay loving. Stay discerning. Stay submitted. Stay bold. And most importantly, stay in your assignment.

Esther knew her calling. She understood the assignment, recognized who was for her, and knew when it was time to draw away and seek the Lord. No matter who stood with her, she understood that there was a greater purpose attached to her position, and above all, she desired for God to be pleased.

Esther was THAT GIRL because she was no longer afraid of “doing too much.” She knew it would take all of that and more to fulfill what the Lord had ordained her to do, free her people, the Jews.

It took the secret place.
It took fasting.
It took courage.
It took going against the grain, the norm, and society’s cultural standards.
It took being humbled by someone who knew her before the promotion. 👀
It took all of that to bring freedom to those in need.

As a child of God, obedience will sometimes require the hard thing, the unpopular thing, and the peculiar thing. You are not like this world, girl. 🎀 You are set apart, a royal priesthood and a chosen generation. Should I say more? (1 Peter 2:9)

Those convictions you have? Yup, it takes that.
Not being liked by everyone? Yup, it takes that. (There are more for you than against you)
Having to forgive? Yup, it takes that.
Repentance?? Yup, take that.
Keeping your heart before The Father? Oh yes, it takes that.

Standing on Kingdom business makes you an immediate threat to everything contrary to God. We live to obey Him so that He may be glorified.

Do not be afraid to pursue the God thing. God will guide you, help you, correct you, and heal you. Just remember, it takes all of that.

My sister in Christ, don’t keep silent. Don’t be afraid to be ‘too much.’ Your voice has deliverance in it.

My very first YLC Convocation, and it was nothing short of a spectacular, supernatural explosion! 🤍🔥

I’m so grateful and honored to be a part of this community. God knew exactly what I needed, and I received EVERYTHING! Nothing was wasted, and nothing is ever wasted when God is in it.

Thank you to the visionary, Pastor @mmoorejr , and the incredible teams of YLC and @spiritandtruthig for creating such a powerful space for worship, impartation, community, and transformation.

July 31st was nothing short of AMAZING! 💕✨

When God says He will do a thing, BELIEVE HIM!

The EmpowHERment Conference KY was truly one for the books. What a beautiful day of purpose, sisterhood, wisdom, and pouring into the next generation of young women.

A heartfelt thank you to Dr. @tragilwade for bringing the All Girls Matter Conference to Louisville and for choosing me to serve as the Kentucky State Representative. It is truly an honor that I do not take lightly. Thank you for trusting me with the vision and allowing me to help bring it to life here in our city! 🩷

Thank you, @beuinteriordesigns, for transforming the room into such a beautiful banquet-style experience for our young girls. Your creativity, attention to detail, and special touch made a world of difference and helped create an atmosphere that reminded every girl in the room that she was worth celebrating.

Huge thank you to my church family @kingdomfellowshipclc and Pastor @timfindleyjr for providing such a wonderful safe space for our girls to be imparted into! The church was a perfect place 💜 thank you Pastor for your mentorship through the process in bringing it all together! It means more than you know.

And to each of our incredible facilitators, THANK YOU! Thank you for making time to pour wisdom, knowledge, encouragement, and the precious Word of God into our next generation. You gave our girls practical steps toward success while reminding them that God must remain at the center of it all.

With her expertise as MS, CT (ASCP), she understands how intricately God designed our bodies and believes that caring for them is an important act of stewardship. During Workshop Two, Lisa will equip our young queens with practical knowledge about personal hygiene, self-care, and healthy habits, giving them the confidence and understanding they need to care for themselves with wisdom, dignity, and purpose. 💕
