This year, India Clean-Up Confluence (ICUC) 3.0 brought together changemakers from across the country under one powerful theme — “One Nation, Many Missions.” 🇮🇳🌱

160+ delegates.
80+ organisations.
20+ changemakers.
And countless conversations that turned ideas into action.

One of the most talked-about sessions was “Show Me The Money, Honey” — a session that brought together the right people, the right questions, and real conversations around funding the change we want to see.

But how do you actually bring a session like this to life?

From bringing the right voices together to planning the format, building the conversation, and making sure every element came together on the day — there was a lot that happened behind the scenes.

@indiacleanupconfluence3.0 was a rollercoaster ride.
Yes it was our third edition but this year came with so many life lessons , so many new changes and along with it challenges .

But @maansiahuja and I kept reminding ourselves of why we started this in the first place.

In July 26 at a Google conference I made a dummy app . And that was the first time I could see it and feel it happening.

Only if you have a clear vision can others have that vision with you .

You were the pillar of my strength.

From hosting events On stage to now planning our own one. Every year for one month life comes to a standstill and a long list of life lessons are presented.

After all what’s the point of living if you aren’t experimenting and pushing the boundaries.
And when you do all of this you come across very beautiful people

Since it was Ganesh visarjan we presented him with a Ganpati idol a token from Mumbai

Yes he teased me 🫣🫣, but he spoke so well about how the Government needs to work hand in hand with the people who on the ground making a difference.

This is what happens when people from across India come together for one mission — a cleaner India. 🇮🇳

India Cleanup Confluence concluded Day 2 with a massive cleanup at the Red Fort, bringing together people from different cities, backgrounds and communities, united by one purpose.

But why the Red Fort?

Because this is where our national flag is hoisted. A place that represents the shaan of our country — yet, like so many of our public spaces, it is also surrounded by waste and plastic.

This is our country.
This is our home.

And just like we take pride in keeping our homes clean, we believe our cities and public spaces deserve the same care.

So, we showed up. We picked up. We cleaned up. And we did it together. ❤️

🌱 ICUC 3.0 — Day 1 | From Conversations to Action

Today, I had the opportunity to attend India Clean-Up Confluence (ICUC) 3.0 at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi — a day of conversations around sustainability, waste management, climate action, responsible citizenship and the future of our cities.

What stood out to me is that sustainability is no longer just about talking about the environment — it is about implementation, scale and everyday action.

A few reflections I’m taking back:

🔹 “Patha hi Paramatma” — change begins with people and grassroots action.

🔹 Civic sense matters. Policies and infrastructure can only go so far without individual and collective responsibility.

🔹 We need to move from Swachh Bharat towards a Circular Bharat — where waste is segregated, recovered, reused and brought back into productive cycles.

🔹 Responsible consumption matters. Our choices influence systems of production, consumption and waste.

🔹 CSR and philanthropy should move beyond individual initiatives towards scalable, long-term systems of change.

🔹 Sustainability needs to become part of the core of corporate practices, rather than an additional activity.

🔹 Community and religious leaders can play an important role in taking climate responsibility and sustainable behaviour to people at the grassroots.

The discussions on critical infrastructure also offered an important perspective — from 🌿 blue & green infrastructure and 🚰 sewage systems to ❄️ cooling systems and ⚡ data centres & energy consumption.

As our cities and digital infrastructure expand, sustainability must be built into the infrastructure itself.

And adding energy to the day was a powerful performance by Mahi G, bringing music and social messaging together. 🎤🔥

One thought that stayed with me:

We don't just need more awareness.
We need better implementation.
We need to scale what works.
And we need people to participate in the change.

Grateful to have been in the room — listening, learning and connecting with people working towards a cleaner and more sustainable India. 🌍

At @indiacleanupconfluence 3.0 — Session 5, ‘The Green Pay-Cheque’ — with Pratima Singh, Girish, Dr. Mahreen Matto & Vaibhav Chauhan, unpacking what green jobs in India actually look like and who’s really building them.

From building bins to moderating conversations on the future of the green economy — this one’s a first, and a milestone.
