Our cruise what an adventure.
Mykonos cancelled due to wind - Rhodes- our ship broke off the pier and hit a boat- Crete flash flooded - but Santorini… predicted to storm but was the blessing it’s always been!

We booked the earliest tour - and almost missed it- “Mum! Run”- as she carried her shoes down the hallway and we left without any make up hair brush or her phone!

We were among the very first to Oia where Leander and I were married 19 years ago!!! In the remains of a castle that happened to belong to the “ancestors of Leandros”
The area where we got married was just the same but seemed smaller than mum and I remembered.
We danced around to a musician - who felt like the same one from our wedding and even saw swallows flying overhead! We headed to the south to Akrotiri- a marvelous ancient city hidden under soft pumice stone from a volcanic eruption 3,500 years ago. Mum was blown away! Paintings of swallows and flowers graced the walls of three story homes with toilets. I first saw Santorini in the film Summer Lovers by @randalkleiserofficial and vowed to visit it. I went, on my own, in 1997- then vowed to one day marry there, returned with Leander in 2006 and married there in 2007! We returned again for a blissful ten year anniversary and plan to return next year for our 20th!
Mum and I took the cable car down to the port and returned to the ship early to avoid the crowds.
We danced on red night and loved the cruise show - Persephone - but it took 26 hours to fly back with delays stopping in Boston. Mum was a trooper - as was Leander picking us up at 2AM from LAX but you should see (or not) what’s left of my finger nails. Was a few hours in Santorini worth it?

What a life highlight! Last night singing Fantastic Day with @haircutonehundred and @nickheyward in Downtown LA. Knowing Mum was on the balcony with Leander, Georgia and Jo made it even more special 💋I love hearing her laugh in this video ❤️ Mum found me this dress from 1964 made in Palm Springs and I just fit into it! The whole experience was exciting and I’m very grateful to the band for the opportunity!! 🙏 This song is in the soundtrack for @daughterofamermaidfilm 😀🎵🌈 by @indiadupre

Tribute to the loveliest Dolly ❤️ I am speechless at her passing and can only find solace knowing she is encouraging us all from up above. My sister Saffron and I wrote this song for our hero- the lady that made us feel our sexy Mum was not alone in her wild outfits. We love you! Thank you @rachelstrattonallen and Alison for a warm welcome with love and happy memories in Leigh-on-Sea. We saw an eclipse! A meteor shower, tended to a pixie garden, walked the cobblestoned streets and swam in the Thames Estuary! My Dad with us in the heavens all the way. (I hope the little one’s wish comes true - send good vibes) by @indiadupre

Welcome to London
Not sure what we like more. The pub names or the tiny streets they are on. We took the Elizabeth Line to The City of London - its own city in the middle of London. 8,600 citizens amongst the Financial District. Pick pockets spotted and lots of leather shoes. Leander carried our bags so I could take photos ❤️ by @indiadupre

I had just turned nine when this came out. Leander tracked it down on eBay so that we can scan it in for our doc #daughterofamermaiddoc (in the works) fun to open with our ❤️😍 @georgiaeisner and show it to my shocked mum the next day ❤️ by @indiadupre

Mum sent these newspaper clips to my Grandma back in the late 70s - 🌸❤️ this is the kind of fun part- like putting together a puzzle- figuring out their dates so I can license them for the doc. by @indiadupre

Recording a cover of Don’t Dream It’s Over for our documentary ❤️ feeling very present and blessed to be in such an organic environment with the coolest instruments. (This bass is from the 1970s) Neil Finn’s song fits great in our Hawaii section of the film (thank you producer extraordinaire @georgiaeisner for the idea) Recording with multi talented @omarvelus in Rancho Jonata near Santa Barbara. Daughter of a Mermaid a little closer to being finished! by @indiadupre
