It's taken a week to completely process what when down at the @spaven23 masterclass. I know everyone who was there went home with so much inspiration to push and get better. As always thank you all of the incredible response. These kinds of things can't happen without the support of the drum community 🖤

Steve Smith and Vital Information perform “Charukeshi Express” from their album New Perspective. ⚡️ Steve Smith shares how the piece began as a solo drum set composition inspired by konnakol, the South Indian vocal rhythmic art form. When pianist Manuel Valera and bassist Yanick joined the trio, they sight-read the challenging material with ease, which allowed the piece to grow into its current form. Head over to the Musora channel to hear more about how this composition blends the precision of Indian rhythmic traditions with the freedom of jazz improvisation. 🎤: Steve Smith And Vital Information 🎧: Charukeshi Express 💿: New Perspective #stevesmith #vitalinformation #musoramedia by @indiandrummers
