That liquid looks like a magic solution for scratched speedometer glassโ€”but India has cheaper alternatives.

The viral Indonesian product works mainly by filling tiny surface cracks and reducing light scattering, making cloudy plastic look clearer. Similar plastic restorers and polishes are easily available in India.

You can look for products like Motomax Dashboard Polish, WD-40, or dedicated automotive plastic restorers. For actual scratches, products like Meguiar's PlastX or 3M Plastic Polish are better because they lightly polish the surface.

But there's a catch: these are mostly cosmetic fixes. If the plastic has deep cracks or severe UV damage, replacing the cover is the proper solution. by @indiantechdaily

How does a moving train cook food for 750+ passengers?

The Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train has a dedicated pantry car designed to prepare fresh meals onboard. IRCTC says Bharat Gaurav trains are equipped with well-equipped pantry cars, while some variants have modern kitchen cars and rail restaurants.

Inside, staff have to manage large-scale food preparation, storage, cooking and serving while the train is constantly moving.

It's basically a full-scale kitchen running inside a moving train serving hundreds of passengers during a single journey.

This is the side of Indian Railways passengers rarely get to see. by @indiantechdaily

Toyota just reminded everyone why its engines have such a reputation.

Toyota cars are known for engines built around durability, simple engineering, and long-term reliability. With regular servicing and proper maintenance, many Toyota engines can run for hundreds of thousands of kilometres without major issues.

It's not about making the most powerful engine.

It's about building one that simply refuses to give up. by @indiantechdaily

China has these giant wheel washing systems for trucks.

Before muddy construction vehicles leave a site, they can drive through a special washing platform where high-pressure water jets clean the tires and undercarriage. Some systems use rollers to rotate the wheels for a more thorough wash, while the dirty water and mud can be collected and recycled.

The goal is simple: stop trucks from carrying mud and dirt onto public city roads.

Basically, a mandatory car wash before the truck hits the streets. ๐Ÿ˜ต๐Ÿ”ฅ by @indiantechdaily

Upi vs China's Palm Pay? Who Wins??

China is letting people pay with just their hand.

Tencent's Palm Pay uses a scanner that reads both the palm's surface pattern and the veins underneath it. After a one-time registration linking your palm to a payment account, you can simply wave your hand over the terminal to pay no phone, card or QR code needed. ๎จ0๎จ‚

The technology is already being used in places like Beijing's airport metro line and thousands of 7-Eleven stores in China. Tencent says its palm-payment system had reached around 50 million users and 100,000+ merchants by 2026.

A creatorโ€™s fuel-efficiency hack is going viral amid growing concerns over ethanol-blended petrol in India.

The method involves mixing 0% ethanol petrol with E20 petrol, with the creator claiming that the combination can help balance ethanol content and improve fuel efficiency. The carโ€™s display reportedly showed an average fuel economy of 15.9 km/L.

While the trick is gaining attention online, the actual mileage impact can vary depending on the vehicle, fuel blend and driving conditions. Vehicle manufacturersโ€™ recommended fuel should always be followed.

ACs in 400 years old Monument??

The historic palace itself was designed with its own cooling system. The Nahr i Bihisht, a network of water channels running through the royal buildings, helped cool the interiors through flowing water and evaporation.

Modern ACs have also been installed in some offices and VIP/guest areas inside the Red Fort complex, although such additions have previously been criticized for affecting the character of the protected monument.

Mughal engineering had water cooling.

Modern India has air conditioning.

Indian Railways sometimes uses chains to secure stationary coaches or rakes during maintenance and shunting operations.

These chains act as an additional physical restraint, helping prevent unintended movement when a train is parked, being worked on, or positioned on a siding. The actual braking and securing procedure depends on the location and railway operating rules, so the chain is not simply a replacement for the train's brakes.

It looks like a simple jugaad, but the purpose is basic railway safety: keep a heavy train exactly where it is supposed to stay. by @indiantechdaily

OMG, companies are now fighting AI interview cheating with an actual mask.

The idea sounds ridiculous, but the problem is real: candidates can use real-time face swapping, voice cloning, second screens, and AI assistants during remote interviews. Security researchers have documented cases where fake candidates used AI-generated faces during live calls

One company reportedly mails candidates a physical mask and asks them to wear it throughout the interview. The mask makes real-time face-swapping much harder because the AI can't reliably track and replace a normal human face.

It also forces the candidate to prove they're actually present instead of hiding behind an AI-generated identity.

AI made remote interviews easier to fake.

Now companies are literally putting candidates behind a mask. by @indiantechdaily

Someone basically created Aadhaar for dogs.

A Mumbai engineer and dog rescuer developed a QR code collar for stray dogs. Scan the code and you can access important information about the dog, including its name, medical history and caretaker's contact details.

The idea came after he lost a stray dog named Kaalu and realised how difficult it was to identify and track community dogs.

It costs around โ‚น100 for the tag, turning a simple collar into a digital identity for a dog.

No Aadhaar card. Just one QR code. ๐Ÿถ by @indiantechdaily

A sandwich shop owner in India did something nobody expected for his grand opening.
Instead of inviting a celebrity or politician, he invited a humanoid robot as the chief guest to inaugurate the shop.

The robot was brought in for the ribbon-cutting ceremony, turning a simple shop opening into a futuristic spectacle that quickly caught people's attention.

Forget the usual chief guest this Indian shop owner went straight for the robot. by @indiantechdaily
