If you asked me, I’d tell you grandparents should live forever. I was always a Grandaddy’s girl, glued to his hip. He was the epitome of a genius, God-fearing man, always walking with his head held high. He had a generous and kind mind, always looking for ways to help others. I’m so thankful he never missed a beat of my life. He was always there. He taught me the value of life. He taught me that faith without works is dead. He taught me to stand firm in my morals and to always be myself. He showed me that hard work, discipline, and dedication will always speak for themselves. He instilled in me that if it exists, I can have it, and he believed in me no matter how big or impossible it sounded. You showed us what it means to work and to dream, that nothing worth having comes easy until you roll up your sleeves and give it your all. You taught us to stand tall and rise when we fall. I am forever grateful for every hug and every kiss. I’ll miss hearing “Tootiewoot I’m proud of you,” but knowing that he was… that’s what brings me peace. Until we meet again.🤍🪽 by @indiapatterson_
