IndieCade and Sunbloom Media Arts Center hosted a Game Devs of Color Expo Watch Party at The GAME School at ASU, and we couldn't have heen more ecstatic to see our communities brought together! 🎉 From playtesting remarkable indie games and hearing insightful talks, it was indeed a celebration, and we couldn't have been more grateful to be a part of this. 🎊

Are you interested in showcasing your game? Want to attend Game Devs of Color Expo? 🤔

Sunbloom Media Arts Center and IndieCade are bringing you a GDoCExpo Watch Party, hosted at The GAME School at ASU in DTLA! 🏙️

We will be hosting a local games showcase & playtest, and you can sign up to have your game featured in our showcase!

First, make sure to RSVP for a ticket as these will be required for entry. To participate in the showcase, fill out our Google Form - these links can be accessed in our bio!

The deadline to apply for our showcase is Wednesday, September 22nd at 10:00 PM PST! 🗓️ (Tomorrow‼️)

Did you hear the news? The National Animation Museum (NAM) has officially joined Google Arts & Culture!

NAM’s first digital exhibit celebrates the impact of animation across 20 years of @indiecade and the world of independent video games.

NAM is also excited to be featured in Skwigly Animation Magazine.

In the article, California State Assemblymember Nick Schultz @asmnickschultz (D-Burbank) shared, “The National Animation Museum is an exciting project taking shape here in California’s 44th District. Its new partnership with Google Arts & Culture is a great way to begin sharing that vision with audiences beyond Burbank, while helping inspire the next generation of animators, artists, and storytellers.”

The National Animation Museum has officially partnered with Google Arts & Culture!

Our first Google Arts & Culture digital exhibition, “Animating Play: 20 Years of IndieCade and Indie Video Games,” celebrates the animation and history of independent video games and @indiecade.

By joining the @googleartsculture platform, the National Animation Museum is hosting a digital collection and creating online exhibitions and stories on the art and science of animation in all its forms, accessible to audiences around the world.
