Japanese Original Film Brochures 영화 일본 개봉 당시 판매된 오리지널 브로셔들. 영화 스틸컷이나 인터뷰, 제작 비하인드 등 작품 안팎에 관한 내용을 담고 있습니다. 영미권 영화들조차도 이러한 형태의 기록물은 일본에서가 거의 유일하기에, 영미권 아카이브 샵들에서도 메인 아이템 중 하나로 다루곤 하는 품목입니다. 일본은 세계에서 유일하게 ’판매용 브로셔‘ 문화가 독자적인 산업으로 안착한 나라입니다. 수집 문화가 강한 만큼 그에 맞춰 브로셔 산업이 아트북 수준으로 발달해왔죠. 브로셔에는 ‘Cine Rise’, 또는 ‘Cine Switch’ 등의 로고가 인쇄되어 있는데, 이는 도쿄에 위치해있던 독립 영화관이자 배급사의 이름입니다. 영화 개봉에 맞추어 영화의 스틸컷과 인터뷰, 제작 비하인드 등을 담은 브로셔를 출간하는데, 영화의 톤에 맞추어 종이의 질감, 또는 패키지 디자인까지 선택할 정도로 전문적입니다. 상영 기간 동안에만 극장에서 한정 판매하기 때문에 개봉이 한참 지난 컬트 영화 제품의 경우에는 특히나 가치가 높은 편인데요. Best Album 2026 YHWH Nailgun - ‘Magazine’ 인디 씬의 음악성이 이렇게까지 발달해왔다는 사실에 경이를 느끼게하는 미국의 익스페리멘탈 록 밴드 ‘YHWH Nailgun’. 2026년 발매된 2집 ‘Magazine’은 10개의 곡, 총 11분의 길이로 숏폼용 음악보다도 짧지만, 영국 윈드밀 씬 등에 잠시 가려져 있던 미국 언더그라운드의 위상을 다시 정상으로 끌어올렸습니다. 7,80년대 뉴욕의 노웨이브/인더스트리얼 씬부터 그를 보다 리스너블한 틀 안에 가져온 Sonic Youth와 Swans, Coil 등을 지나 90년대 이후 U.S Maple, Hella 등이 시도한 비정형적인 구조의 노이즈 록, 그리고 포스트펑크와 현대 힙합, 테크노의 영향까지 더해져 완성된 현시점 실험 음악의 완전체. 난잡하고 폭력적이면서도 미니멀하게 공간을 비워낸 이들의 음악은, 인더스트리얼을 이시대 가장 발전한 록 계보라 칭하기에 충분한 명분을 줍니다. YHWH Nailgun is an American experimental rock band that makes you realize just how far the indie scene has evolved. Their 2026 sophomore album Magazine contains 10 tracks across just 11 minutes—shorter than most short-form content—yet manages to push the American underground back into the spotlight. Drawing from New York No Wave and industrial, Sonic Youth, Swans and Coil, ’90s noise rock acts like U.S. Maple and Hella, as well as post-punk, hip-hop, and techno, Magazine feels like a fully realized form of experimental music at its current peak. Chaotic, violent, yet strikingly minimal, YHWH Nailgun’s sound makes a strong case for industrial as one of rock’s most evolved lineages. Currently sitting around 3.2 on RYM, Magazine is also a reminder to question the site’s credibility—especially when Gilla Band’s rather average Pugnello sits at 3.9 and tops the chart. by @indiefoots

Jim Jarmusch ’Coffee&Cigarettes‘ (2003) Coffee Table Book from Japanese Original Release 1986년부터 약 18년에 걸쳐 촬영된 11개의 에피소드를 나열한 짐 자무쉬의 대표작 ’커피와 담배‘. 톰 웨이츠, 이기 팝, 빌 머레이, 케이트 블란쳇, 스티브 부세미, 로베르토 베니니, White Stripes, RZA와 GZA 등 초호화 라인업을 자랑합니다. 2005년 일본 첫 개봉 당시 판매된 브로셔로, 영화 내용에 맞추어 커피 테이블 북 형태로 제작되었습니다. Jim Jarmusch’s cult classic Coffee and Cigarettes, consisting of 11 episodes filmed over nearly 18 years, from 1986 to 2003. Featuring an all-star cast including Tom Waits, Iggy Pop, Bill Murray, Cate Blanchett, Steve Buscemi, Roberto Benigni, The White Stripes, RZA, and GZA.
