Somewhere along the way, we learned to label emotions as “good” or “bad.” We were taught which feelings were acceptable to express and which ones we should keep to ourselves.

But jealousy, anger, sadness, and fear are all part of being human. Just because an emotion feels uncomfortable doesn’t mean it’s wrong.

What if, instead of judging what we feel, we gave ourselves permission to feel it?

Creativity is hard to force on command.

You can still rely on what you know when you’re stressed, but accessing imagination is different. It needs space, playfulness and enough room to actually wander somewhere interesting.

And when you’re tired, overwhelmed and already under a deadline? That window gets smaller and smaller, which only adds more pressure.
