This is Kee. His formal name, Ashkii, is Navajo for boy.
He just arrived one day, I guess around July when he was around 5 months.
I have asthma, and animal dander is my trigger.
Yet I let him in when the night time temps dropped to 30.
He’s definitely got some feral in him.
Yet he loves me and purrs loudly.
So he sleeps inside, but always ready to get out into the outside world by 7a 🐾 by @indigenous_60

This was taken at 5:18 here in north Texas. We can add about 30-40 seconds of daylight to each day, after the Winter Solstice of 12/21.
Even by January 1, we’ve gained more sunlight than before 12/21.
Sunlight begins moving at a clip by January 15, and it builds significantly by 12/31.

Tomorrow will begin a 3 day rain stretch with up to an 80% chance.
It will stay in the 50’s however; so no ice. Yet.
Some rando on TikTok says a winter storm with freezing temps will arrive around 1/3.
I’m hoping he’s wrong. by @indigenous_60
