Tonight we had a very special ‘WHY’ session with our running group, just 3 weeks out from marathon day. ❤️To do what we’ve all been training for takes real courage, and every single one of us has a reason why we keep showing up and giving it a crack.Tonight, it was such a privilege to hear everyone’s “why” and to get to know each other on a much deeper level. When you train together all year, you see each other through the highs, the lows, the early mornings, and the tough sessions—but tonight reminded us that there’s so much more behind every runner.There was laughter, there were tears, and there was so much appreciation in that room.To think this crazy idea was born at 2:30am one morning and has grown into this incredible community… I honestly couldn’t be more grateful for every single one of these legends. 🥹A big shout-out to our virtual runners and those who couldn’t make it tonight—you were definitely missed, and you’ll have your chance to share your “why” too. ❤️Heading to bed tonight with a very full heart. Just over a week since they released this documentary ‘The Long Run’ and yeah, I gotta tell ya just really overwhelmed with the love we’ve received! It’s pretty out there to have your life showcased on national television, but it’s all worth it when it’s inspiring others to make change in their own lives. ❤️✨I’ll never forget the way it made me feel. It’s a euphoric feeling! For once in my life, in that moment, all the fucks up I’d made in my life became lessons and all the good I felt was real.If you missed the documentary go check out STAN or 9NOW! ✨🙌 by @indigenousmarathonfoundation
