That's a wrap on solos for 2026!

Indigo had such a great time at @ebsdn.aus 🤩 It was such a well run comp, with such positive and calm vibes and so many beautiful dancers!

Our gal danced her little heart out, doing the most solos she has done with 6 routines including her duo with bestie @gabbi_goo.dances 🤎 This Mumma was tired just going through the costume changes 🙊😂

Indigo was also so excited to have the opportunity to dance for Shannon Atkins! Thank you @shannoneatkins for your adjudication and providing such beautiful and encouraging feedback - Indigo has listened quite a few times today and taken a lot of confidence from hearing them 💫

So grateful for Miss Dani and Miss Evie for all of Indigo's training and support @thedancedept_creative_studios ❤️ Thanks also to @danceconservatoryaus and @conservatoire.aus for our extra training, and Miss Kelsey @concepts_technicalcoaching 🤍

What a way to finish solo comps for the year 🙌🏻 by @indigo.grace__

Indigo had the best day at the @grandprixelitestage workshop ✨

Indigo said she definitely found it challenging, especially the classical portion, but she really enjoyed the push! Indigo also loved the encouragement to explore her artistry in the contemporary portion and was SO grateful to have the opportunity to learn from @misskristakingdoh and @julietdoherty 🤍

Thanks so much to @conservatoire.aus and @danceconservatoryaus for bringing these amazing learning opportunities to junior dancers here on the Gold Coast! 🖤🤍

*** A little side note for me, as Mum, to remember when looking back at these squares - I asked Indigo on the drive home 'how did that style of dancing today make you feel?' and her immediate response... 'it makes me feel like Indigo' Welllllll for me having an anxious little AuDHD gal, that's absolutely what it's all about 🥹🥹🤍 by @indigo.grace__

🖤 BTE Presents ALIVE 💛

Wowee this was such an amazing experience for Indigo. We were so keen to be part of a production that is highlighting some of the challenges that dancers face - and mental health is one that is close to Indigo's heart.

We are so grateful to Kylie and Alex for the opportunity to be part of ALIVE and all of the support, kindness and patience they gave to Indigo. This was definitely not an easy production for Indigo, learning more routines for one show than she has ever before - but Kylie and Alex made sure that our gal never felt the pressure and allowed Indigo to really enjoy and embrace the whole experience.

Thank you also to each of the other dancers! You are all so talented and it was beautiful to watch each of you bring this story to the stage. Indigo has made lots of new friends from different studios, and as one of the youngest dancers she was always made to feel so comfortable and included - we are so grateful to each of you for your kindness 🥹🖤💛

Thank you so much @beyondtheencoreaustralia we will forever remember ALIVE ✨ by @indigo.grace__

Soirée d'Élègance 🤍

Indigo's first performance with @conservatoire.aus and her very first ballet. To say we are proud is an understatement 🥹

Each of the seniors and juniors danced so beautifully, and the setting at The Homestead was stunning.

So grateful to @conservatoire.aus and @danceconservatoryaus for these opportunities and experiences. We cannot wait to see where Indigo's classical journey takes her 🩰🤍 by @indigo.grace__

Gosh I love watching my gal do hip hop!! It's not a natural style for her, but gosh does she get into character for it - and it's a absolute joy to watch!!

Thanks as always to @tk_patara for bringing the vibes - Indigo LOVES hip hop class with you! 🫶🏼

Two troupe comps in one day! That was definitely an experience 😅

The 12s spent the morning at @dancelifeunite
🥉Lyrical
HC Jazz
HC Hip hop

And then a quick drive over to The Star for 10s and 12s at @goldcoasteisteddfod ✨

10s
🥉 Jazz
🥇 Contemporary

12s
VHC Lyrical
VHC Jazz

Our teams did so well! It was a long day with not a lot of time between some routines, but these kids smashed it 🤩

So proud of them all!! @thedancedept_creative_studios ♥️🖤🤍 by @indigo.grace__
